How many bunker locations do you guys think there will be?

5-10?

Probably 6. 8 would be the max.

Yeah I was thinking 7 or 8 max. There's only so much room.. don't want it to get too crazy.

The Newswire post said they were all around Blaine County.

I mean they could add some to the city but I hope they don't cuz all my sh*ts in the city it would be nice to have a change of scenery..... would love firefights in the country.. and more like traffic in the less NPC populated areas

 

Yea you know what I have to agree with this too. It really would be nice if they had some in the city but now that I think of it the city is already to cluttered as is it. They need to focus more on stuff in the desert anyways.

It must be a better moneymaker that I/E, but i would brace for countermeasures for empty lobbies. I guess some tasks won't be possible without friends in public lobbies.

 

It will start as fun, then it probably becomes a grind.

 

I hope it's solo friendly.. at least a small part of it.

I'm expecting NPC Explosion resistant Granger RS (RS for RockStar, like the Sultan RS) that has 8 NPCs in them equipped with Railguns with perfect accuracy.

Yeah, Yan said that they approved the update on their ends. Again I hope it comes on the 6th rather than the 13th, but I agree the event week makes it look unlikely. I hope I am wrong.

After the past two months the event week might not matter. At one point we:

 

 

• Never had an Update during an ongoing event
• Never had a drip feed content release during an ongoing event
• Never had a new event start during an ongoing event

Now we:

 

 

• Never had an Update during an ongoing event
• Have had drip feed content release during an ongoing event
• Have had a new event start during an ongoing event

Rockstar has changed their approach to how they handle starting/ending events and releasing drip feed content. At this point having an Update drop mid event is possible. Heck, we might get something like:

 

 

• May 26 - June 1: Discounts
• May 26 - June 12: Double $ & RP on Biker Businesses and Special Cargo
• June 2 - June 12: Discounts
• June 2 - June 5: Double $ & RP on Import/Export
• June 6: Gunrunning Update

But it's hard to say what Rockstar will do. They've always been unpredictable in the past. Not to mention the months following Cunning Stunts: Special Vehicle Circuit have been more sporadic with them overlapping events, starting some events on Fridays, other events on Tuesdays, new events starting/ending before the previous event ends, etc. Edited May 27, 2017 by MusicMan05

Personally that's what I'm expecting. They added mod shops for our CEO Office and Clubhouse. I think the bunker will be next.

I would be very happy with that. It would mean that the bunkers get PV storage (thats exactly what i need right now), because in order to access the Bunker Modshop we would need to store the vehicles in there first.

They have released drip fed content during event weeks before this year.. during the Bikers drip feeding we got both the Tornado Rat Rod and the Esskey in the middle of two event weeks (The Halloween event week and the Deadline event week, respectively)

 

Both event weeks were two weeks long and we got those cars in the middle of each. Just throwing that out there.

About potential bunker locations, i can see one being on one of those sand roads in middle ( between hills and Sandy shore ) close to the mine shaft, if not straight up replacing it.

Since they didn't announce a release date, that all but guarantees it doesn't release next week. Might not even come the week after. Almost certainly we'll get news on Tuesday, but a fiver says it doesn't release on the 30th.

Well they do say June. If I had to wager, I would bet that they are waiting on Sony and Microsofts approval right now. I believe that has been the case in the past when they announce an update and say "coming soon", I can't remember which they did that on, but they did. We know Qubeta was updated, so they have tested or are doing testing, but I think that must be wrapped up by now.

 

I think they are shooting for June 6th assuming MS/Sony completes testing on time. Maybe I'm wrong though I don't know much about this stuff. Fun would be more in the know.

They would confirm a release date by next Thursday/Friday if they are going to post more info about Gunrunning.

I hope they follow what they did with I/E. Can make more money with a group but also a steady income solo.

I kinda skimmed through the last dozen pages or so.. And I'm curious if there's been any new updates or possible leaks since the newswire article dropped?

 

Also what's everyone's thoughts on the possibility of being able to store Pegasus vehicles and new weaponized vehicles in our bunkers? Hopefully choppers and jets are included.

No guns in apartments and garages. Best thing we "could" get is a unarmed JB700, or a fully armed/pegasus JB700.

Vehicles count as weapons. They are used to run players over when they are running in the road. Rockstar you fail at your own logic

But this doesn't confirm anything regardless. It's (likely) only when the Special Discounts ends, which is only for a selected amount of players.

You get bad sport for blowing up Ruiner 2000s (I know for sure, I do that a lot) - so I think the JB700 would be fair.

 

But whether it would or not - that's superceded by the infamous Rockstar logic.

Well, the lack of it in the newswire wasn't as explosive as I thought it'd be - granted there's still hope, so maybe that's why.

 

I picture it being more of a slow, seething b*tching about everything Rockstar does. And just continuing at it until they crack. Even if that's GTA VI.

Yeah, it's June 5th in the "title". While in the description it says "....through June 12th"

 

While Fun is right, in the other versions even the "title" says "June 12th"

R* have four branches or probably more than that.

There's "prod", "dev", "cert", "stage".

Production, development, certification and I'm not sure about stage.

Each one have it's own tunables and it's own Socialclub and events ..etc

Certification is used by Sony and Mircosoft.

Development is obvious, and production is what we are using.

I'm pretty sure the dev tunables have all the variables for Gunrunning enabled.

All they have to do is copy paste it to production, simple as that.

Doesn't require some genius or to invite Kirsty to do it for them

I know people want JB700 with guns but... why? Think about guns in R2k, Blazer Aqua and Anihilator - they always suck.
You can't use personal weapons and it only fires from the front (with small damage). It's a coffin on wheels.


but if you could use your weapons - that's another story.
