I'd like to see them pull a "Oh so you thought you had 2 weeks of 2x to make money for the gunrunning update? It would be a shame if we released it in the middle of it and that in a moment of panic, you'd have to buy a shark card to get the new stuff now because you reallllllllly need it."

And I thought that I was sceptical* when I immediately figured that Rockstar were offering 25% discounts on the most overpriced items in the game (namely, SVs, yachts, and 'old' weaponised vehicles)... probably a few days before releasing Gunrunning... meaning that the unprepared would have to buy Shark Cards to get things!

 

*read: knowledgeable because it's happened before and will happen again.

Take anything Pegasus wise and fine tune your useless Rhinos, Savages, maybe even upgrade your Buzzard to add on increased armor, mobility, and firepower. Could be R* sneaky way of reviving our favorite aircraft/helis/land vehicles. Wouldn't that be awesome if that's R* real motivation here?

Honestly, pretty foolish for anyone that gets so impatient wanting all the new toys and spends real money on a Sharkcard. Just take some time, research the new goodies from reputable sources in the forums, then work your way up to whatever items the person really wants.

 

On the other hand, no one should negatively judge card buyers, no one should criticize how another human being spends his hard earned moolah. Or wanting the new toys so bad but not having the time to earn in game income.

Yeah and for Mas U Sees who said Special Vehicles Circuit dropped during an event week, no it did not. There was a weekend full of bonuses just before the update to get us ready for it (Don't know why, there was nothing to buy except the GP1 and the drip fed cars came later). A new event week started the day the update came out (March 14th) and lasted until the following Wednesday (March 22nd).

 

I would post the links but for some reason, the post about the event week leading right up to SVC isn't appearing on the Rockstar Newswire but only on the Social Club Events page.

My bad, must have been the new Stunt Race Tracks being added, or some Adversary Mode, I cannot recall a 100% anymore.

But I am very sure about the fact that it wouldn't be the first time for R* to "intervene" an Event Week.

Won't happen, otherwhile it'll be turned into a Pegasus vehicle.

 

No guns in apartments and garages. Best thing we "could" get is a unarmed JB700, or a fully armed/pegasus JB700.

thats the current rule but look at the announcement, there is a tampa(pv) that can get upgraded to have weapons... does this means that once upgraded would it turn into a pegasus vehicle? i dont think so.

 

i think some useless rules are about to change.

After playing last night driving my brickade around

 

I noticed how similar the back end of it looks to the one in the new leaked image

 

What If that the insurgent looking vehicle driving up the ramp is a rc attack vehicle that fits in the back of the brickade

 

I assuming the back would open up

With a ramp just like the image

 

It's either that or this thing (vehicle I'm assuming) loading up that new reddish insurgent vehicle is a lot bigger then the current brickade

The thing the truck is driving into is one of the new bunkers, it is not a big vehicle.

I don't think it's going to be any of that. It's just a half-track based off the Duneloader, and it wouldn't be able to fit inside the Brickade anyway.

I don't think it's going to be any of that. It's just a half-track based off the Duneloader, and it wouldn't be able to fit inside the Brickade anyway.

 

 

That Half-track has anti aircraft cannon on it. I don't know if anyone has thought about it, but I'm pretty sure the half-track is a new AA. So there has to be new air vehicles in this update. new powerful one that require an AA half-track to balance them.

I voted that Gunrunning will come on the 13th, but I really hope that's not the case. If we could at least get another newswire thing about it next week, that would be cool.

I actually think there's a good chance it might even be later than the 13th. I feel like - with the small number of vehicles they've shown - what we've seen must only be the tip of the iceberg, and for them to reveal much of what's waiting, it might need to be further back.

 

Just my vibe though, and there's nothing saying they couldn't leave it as a surprise. Or (worst case scenario) it really is only 4 vehicles.

and what to you mean by "the small number of vehicles they've shown"? Usually they show like what? only 2-3 pictures with 1-2 cars? We got 6 pictures this time!

 

first post about Finance and Felony - 3 pictures: 1 vehicle shown, 1 pic from adv. mode.

 

first post about Bikers - 2 pics: Couple bikes and inside of a coke factory.

 

first about Import/Export - 4 pics: CEO garage(with mostly old cars inside), I/E garage, 1 pic from a mission and 1 of 8 SV shown (the weakest one)

 

Gunrunning - 6 pictures: 2x APC, 2x Tampa, 2 pics with bunker(inside/outside)

 

So they already showed more then usually do am I right?

 

 

and here's the real question to you guys - everyone here agrees that we will get at least 8-10 "Special Gunrunning Vehicles" to store inside those bunkers right?

So far we confirmed 3:

- APC (with different gun modes)

- Tampa o'death (also with different gun modes)

- Ratlaoder/Tank from this pic

 

That still gives us 6-8 unknowns. Anyone has predictions? I want to hear your original ideas! Let see who can speculate the next think to come.

 

my guesses so far:

- new smaller tank for sure (unless they went for WWII look)

- something for off-roads . Maybe post-apo Beetle or a new dune buggy

- fast car with extra armor but no guns. Maybe something like this

- Hovercraft

- Armored Dozer / DozerTruck / This thing from top gear

- Hunter

- Sea Sparrow

- Little whieele

June is a holiday month for most of the schools worldwide, Why wouldn't r* release it as early as possible? Or are they naive enough to think all their players are 18 and above? LOL.

lol. and yeah it doesn't make sense why would they release it on E3? Nobody at E3 will be more interested or excited for a dlc than a new game. It makes no sense at all.

 

The E3 is the only thing that keeps me thinking about the possibility of a release earlier than the 13th (but then again it might be coming after the 13th)

 

Is there any chance that this update is big enough to get a trailer at Sony's conference? they have a partnership with Rockstar

 

 

 

No chance it's coming after the 13th, IMO.

 

While June 20th would still fall in spring, I think that's just too late after the initial announcement for them to release it. That's almost a month of waiting from the time they announced it.
