its odd though you would think it would be on June 6th first off the 13th would be on E3 that's not good. Then by the 6th they would have updated qabeta 3 weeks in a row the update would be ready sony and ms would be done testing it to so why make us wait an extra week? its very interesting rockstar has never made us go 4 weeks while qabeta is updated so I don't understand.

I don't either, man. Let's just hope it comes out on the 13th.

The vehicle is obviously some sort of Dune Loader half track, but what I've noticed about it is that it bears some resemblance to the M16 AAA truck used in WWII (4 guns, heavy off-road half track, old).

Really all I want is the a-10 warthog. knowing that a half track is coming that gives me hope for the a-10 that's because the half track was in the emblem creator as an emblem and its coming in gunrunning and the a-10 is in the emblem creator to so hopefully they will add it:) I just want the a-10.

I love the A-10 myself too.

 

Try not to hype yourself too much. Though I'm sure there are other vehicles hidden - can't just be the small few they've shown.

Why does rockstar have to do this to us? I mean the update is already ready or at least it should be by may 30th. Why do we have to wait an extra 2 weeks rockstar loves trolling us. Isn't it possible to release on June 6th? It would also make more sense because why would they release it on E3 people are more interested in new games then a new dlc so it makes no sense to release on E3.

Neither I nor any others that I have seen ever said there should never be aircraft. All I said is that it is silly to consider them to be, or demand that they be a priority. Aircraft are an afterthought. We are lucky to get them if they happen but they have never been a thing added regularly or the focus of the game. That's not remotely the same thing.

 

As an aside, I'm not sure why people want an A-10 when both explosive cannon armed jets we have now completely duplicate it's job. That's what they do.

 

I wouldn't mind a rustler though, I liked that one.

Thats what balance is all about. Aircraft griefers fear AA griefers n vice versa. The hydra has been the king for too long. Everyone will have an equal chance to kill each other. Throw in a Railgun and even foot soldiers will have a chance. Make GTA balanced again.

Jets are not op there effective. I'm a good pilot so it makes my jet effective not op. And adding new jets would help because a hydra is noon friendly with VTOL mode an a-10 is not noon friendly there for you would have less people flying jets.

I hope they are unlimited but considering the R2K has set a precedent when it comes to limiting vehicle ammo, that worries me.

 

My guess is, its a special vehicle = lmited ammo.

It's a Pegasus vehicle= unlimited ammo.

I think Pegasus are a thing of the past now, the new trend of R* is the way special vehicles works, unfortunately.

The vehicle is obviously some sort of Dune Loader half track, but what I've noticed about it is that it bears some resemblance to the M16 AAA truck used in WWII (4 guns, heavy off-road half track, old).

This may be stretching it, but does that mean we could get other WWII themed vehicles (Rustler pls)?

 

Sorry if it's been pointed out before, I didn't want to read the 100 pages of hype.

What I've wanted forever in GTA V would be WWII era fighter planes. I was a big Lucasarts "Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe" nerd as a kid which sparked my love of the glory days of dogfighting. Getting a p-47, p-51, zero, me 109, 262... a b17 where all turrets and bomb bay were able to be manned by a crew, would be amazing fun, and I doubt the addition of these would be unbalanced.

 

Or heck, add in a gun-sporting version of the duster and we could do our WWI thing. Would also be great fun, though I expect losers would still be spamming passive in those dogfights too.

 

Do I expect any of these? Nope, not entitled to it and I don't believe it would necessarily fit, certainly not with this update, but if they ever do a classic warfare DLC I'd be ecstatic. The mechanics of flight in this game and netcode I believe would just lend themselves very well to these old birds.
