GTA IV (TBoGT & TLaD) didn't have any planes, only prop planes. Oh, and the big one parking around the track, and the ones which are flying around in a locked route

I just realized the truck entering the bunker is a Modded Duneloader. Just look at the front

Take a closer look and you'll vaguely see caterpillar treads on the back

 

take a even closer look and you see roman in the driving seat

Because the game is Grand Theft AUTO. Airplanes are an afterthought if they are thought about at all. So are boats and helicopters. Not all GTA games even had planes

Well thats just retarded on so many levels... Just look how many missions in grand theft AUTOoo is actually about stealing cars and how many we have where you actually have to use planes/helis. Just think about best missions from San Andreas or even gta V

 

and what was the last game without planes? gta2? that argument is so stupid I don't know why I'm even replaying to that sh*t. Maybe cuz I enjoy flying so much (ever since vc)

LCS had a VERY good reason for not having airplanes: The map was landlocked.

III had the same landlocked map but it had a "sort of" flyable airplane, as a result you could go past the map boundaries and realize how unfinished that game was.

So the consoles could handle it Just fine: Vice City did, San Andreas did and Vice City Stories did it too.

 

BTW airplanes arent helicopters, and you said airplanes in your post, not helicopters.

 

And for your information only GTA 1 is 20 years old.

Most of these were GIVEN to you after doing the missions/collecting the packages etc.

 

It's like saying " ohhh, we shouldn't be able to buy cars, cuz its GRAND THEFT AUTO!!!!!!".

Well they kinda confirmed another newswire post:

So I'm guessing in a week (or two) from now well see a newswire post with release date

dlc on 13th

and trailer day(s) before that.

This 100%. They have taken this route before, they will very, very likely do it again.

 

Kinda sad if they skipped out on 6th though. Not that it matters much to me anyway. A week here or there, but atleast we now know that it is coming in June.

Because people are clutching at straws to put together contrived, muddled arguments as to why this update shouldn't have any aircraft.

 

I could put together a list of all the GTA games with aircraft if I wanted to. But what's the point? None of this has any merit in whether or not this update, in this GTA game, should have aircraft.

 

I think it will do anyway. An airbase without aircraft would be pretty poor in the logic department, even by Rockstar's standards.

 

If not, well, I guess there's that cute little APC.

Funny thing, I never used to be against Military Hardware. but when you're riding your bike, not disrupting anyone and a helicopter comes by with malicious intent. shoot it down, they just pull another right out of their arses and come back.

 

Stealing your military hardware was fun, it was risk VS reward. you took the risk of getting shot by the military and the reward was your sparkle sparkle combat vehicle

 

I'm sure everyone used the cop suit in VC to take the Hunter, I barged right in wearing a tracksuit
