The clothing they're offering could still be a bit more interesting than a new jacket and new pants available in a variety of textures.

 

 

But we haven't seen everything, so there's always the possibility that there might be something nicer included on release day. Just not looking promising right now, besides the berets.

 

I guess, yeah. I mean, I'm not one to silence criticisms. But it's not really the best suited for clothing, this update. Could have more, but I think it's more about the vehicles.

 

Plus we'll just have to wait and see. I'm feeling that more than anyone, what with my Hunter not getting shown.

That may be true, but the fact that you're judging something before actually seeing more than a tiny sliver of it is completely asinine. As least wait to bitch and moan when the update comes out and you see every thing it has to offer.

 

 

Mate, I've been bitching and moaning about everything in this game since release (that's four years of analysing/nitpicking to conclude how actually sh*t the game inherently is), why do you f*cking care if I bitch and moan? I still play the game so that proves that I don't really care as much as my exaggerated rants, I just like to express my opinion because I'm a self-absorbed piece of trash. Further, the screenshots are a pretty good indicator of the quality of clothes; if they want to hype sh*t up why would they open with a photo of some dopey looking asshat wearing a girl scout beret, wielding some aborted lovechild of an ak-12 and a nerf gun? Finally, Soundgarden is a great band, rip in dip Chris.

I don't think the clothing will really be female friendly this time around... unless you're a female who's into the whole military thing *cough* TankGirl *cough*

 

 

I mean, berets are making their presence known so that's something the females would probably enjoy. If I had to make an educated guess though, the clothing part of this update will be more male-friendly and not something the females should really look forward to.

f*cking same. I was really hoping for holsters and plate carriers and sh*t. Hope they have it and just haven't revealed it. The camo on the pants don't even look good. The gloves look like recolors of the gloves in the LTS update. And what is up with the day-glo colors for the fleece tops and the berets? Apparently Rockstar's idea of military gear was inspired by the sh*t you find in Call of Duty supply drops.

 

Give em a chance dude, it was only 4 photos we've seen.

I'm not sure they managed to finish one before the war ended lol. But they had all the plans and everything, might have even made one. Massive thing, literally weighed over 1000 tons.

I've given them many a chance homie, however I've been blinded by my own unreasonably high expectations. Cursed to never to be sated by the options offered in virtual dress-up.

If they make customizable aircraft carriers available for purchase as mobile command units... my mind will be just as blown as when they put yachts on the market. I fully believed the dragoon leak and yachts still blew my mind. I think it's absolutely possible, there is plenty of space. If they put them FAR from shore, give them Piracy Prevention and other similar activities, it would sure make the map feel a lot larger. There could be a challenge called "Battleship" that would play out just like the hasbro game between you and any other enemy ships that join, using the radar system in the command center. IDK something crazy like that.

Yea hopefully even more we get to customize our Pegasus vehicles though too. Still im pretty sure we'll get a good amount of clothing. For the males at least.

NASA's Crawler Platform comes to mind. It's 40 meters long, 35 meters wide, 6-8 meters tall (adjustable height) and weighs 2,721 tons. It's possible to build something the size of that tank.

Granted, I only got home a few hours ago, and I'm still not caught up on any of this properly, but judging by the screenshots, it looks like both the APC and the new Tampa variant have different colour schemes (similar ones for both, even), turret options, etc.

 

Also, anyone else getting a 'Defiance' vibe from the Tampa? Apologies if this has been mentioned already (again, I've got to catch up on 20-odd pages of news - !! ), but that ramshackle armour plating and whatnot puts me less in mind of Mad Max, and more of this:

That's quite unlikely... with the exception of the current event week, most event weeks run for either one week straight or two weeks straight. An event week from Friday to two Tuesdays later would be quite weird... a 10-day event week? Nah.

 

More likely that the event week starting tomorrow goes until next Friday when they announce the release date of Gunrunning and a four day event week to prepare and lead us right into the update. Then we'll go back to normal one/two week events starting on Tuesdays.

I don't know. I'm not liking this yet. Seems like the theme is Mad Max and military (APC, anti-air thing on the military side - then that goofy Tampa thing on the other side).

 

This is still meh for me. They've got a lot of things I've suggested - the APC, the anti-air tank (I was one of the main proponents of that actually). But they haven't got the only one that really matters.

 

I'm just going to scale my hopes down.

Have faith my brother, I was bummed at first but then I started thinking that there have to be more and they wouldn't tease the Hunter this early
