Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 3)

I wonder why R* for the past two days have uploaded blank tunables for the PC

 

they can prolly edit them and re-upload them later on... one for tomorrow and the other for the gunrunning dlc if it ever comes. gotta be prepared son.

DLCs only release on Tuesdays with all other releases from game companies and movie studios.

Wouldn't it be something if we got a triple $$/RP on both missions and heists until tuesday and then they drop the update? Now that would be something...

Tripple money on heists....man....i do not even dare to dream about such an insane scenario.

 

I really think that is stretching the realms of reality.

Something out of the ordinary, for sure. It would be nice of them to do their first 3X cash/rp event the week leading up to Gunrunning.

 

 

 

 

My only worry would be that if they are wanting us to make so much money, sh*t going to be reaching limits of expensive.

I'd also like to point out that GTA Online forces file consistency, therefore if a new map was added to Online, it would have an entry in DLCList.XML. It would require everyone to have it in order for everyone to play together

They already said it was coming soon. However, they could say "later this month" or a date

Trust me, we're all aware of Rockstar's event week behavior. The I/E DLC was announced 11 days ahead of time from Friday 12/2 to its release on 12/13. Expect the same with Gunrunning. Announcement tomorrow, release 6/6. That's 11 days.

This is pure speculation but what do all of you think will be the highest price tag for a new item in gunrunning?

My guess is the most expensive bunker with all the upgrades that will cost to around 8-9 million

 

Bunkers won't cost that much. I'd guess more like 2-3 million with upgrades tops. Probably not even that much.

June 6th was always more likely than May 30th, IMO.

 

We got the "Tiny Racers" DLC in May (as awful and small of an update as it was).

It was an adversary mode that was hidden in the files, not an actual update..

Also it came out in April

 

If anything you can learn from Rockstar throughout the last few months it would be the fact that they do NOT have a pattern that we can follow, so anyone claiming that the 6th is the release day just because of last year's finance and felony is wrong, I am not saying it will or will not come on the 6th, but if it did, don't think that it was following a pattern.

Import-Export : 2 weeks between infos & release.

 

But, Finances & Felony DLC, last June : Trailer 3rd June, Release 7th June.

Nope. The trailers drop on DLC release day now. They have for the last three DLCs. It generates more instant hype and shark card revenue because everyone can "PLAY NOW" and not in five days.

In my opinion, it comes this next tuesday, 30th May.

 

- Events stop today. (9 days.. Last events were 13-14 days, so why this event lost 5 days ?)

- We have trial and Premium Race until tuesday.

- Qabeta will be updated 13 days until 30th May (first update began one day after the beginning of the actual event)

 

So, I hope a trailer or some screenshots tomorrow, and a release next week.

In the USA, we have Memorial Day weekend which is why Rockstar created a long event week to lead up to a short event weekend.

 

It's not dropping until the 6th. They always release DLCs the first Tuesday of June. Trailer will drop on the 6th as well.

 

Ive been kicking that idea around in the back of my mind. It would be the first time they acknowledge Memorial Day WE though. Most casuals have no idea what a qabeta even is, so to them its business as usual. I could see them giving a big weekend event full of discounts on SV's and 2x cash jobs to drain the bank accounts of the casuals, then an announcement on 30th for release on 6th. Im still hoping for the 30th release, but a week later would be cool too. A last day of school bonus for the kids. Also I believe when qabeta gets updated the dlc is sent out to sony n ms for approval of the content, then small updates are added for bug fixes as time goes by on r* end. If any ppl in the know could verify or correct that info it could give an indication of when stuff will release. Does anyone know how close the qabeta was updated prior to release of i/e?

I just really hope they give some detailed info on the 26th. Or - I don't know - ASAP.

 

Its been months and we still don't know for sure what it is we're supposed to be hyped about. This is BS.

So? Today is 12 days out. Tomorrow is 11 days out. Expect the release date tomorrow, new event weekend sales to last through Monday night for Memorial Day weekend followed by another 7 day event week then release on 6/6.

We are OK that trailers come during release day.

 

But if we take trailer of Tiny Racers, not a DLC we are agree with that, it came few days before the release.

 

Rockstar can do what they want, a trailer before the release, a trailer after the release, a trailer during 'release day'.

On topic: I wonder how people would react to a new jet? What about one that - somehow - isn't that overpowered? Like, a well-balanced A-10 or something.

There is no point in putting something inferior to the Hydra in the game. Once word gets out many simply won't buy it.Are you 100% sure of that? I know there's more car people but people still buy cars even if they can't compete with anything else in that class. Not everyone buy things just because of the performance
