b...but if you had no issues being hooked to the ps3 while we did 2X heist back on 2015, dont let the masterrace koolaid get to your head.

 

PS3 back in the day when it originally came out had the promise of getting released with mgs4 as an exclusive, while also promising the use of it's motion controller and on top of that it was always a great deal because it was the cheapest blu ray player on the market.

 

Metal Gear Solid 4 was being pushed back, the special movement option on the controller has seen barely any use in most games available on ps3, yet the blu ray player...damn that was a good deal...but still, i always felt like the ps3 never really used it's full potential ever.

 

By the time my brother took his ps3 with him when he moved out(even though i payed half of that thing, but yea, my brother is pretty much an asshole, but i did not complain because well, he actually moved out ), i had quite some games of myself on it so of course i bought my own newer version of the ps3 still, even though i still got the feeling it never used its full capabilities....

 

Now these days though, ps4 went the same way as xbox360 back in the day and put a ridiculous pay wall on their internet service, mgs5 was the sh*ttiest metal gear solid ever and came out on ps3 anyhow, konami went and canceled the potential console exclusive masterpiece titled "silent hills"(i barely am a fan of anything, but man, that one still hurts) and on top of that they fired Kojima, thus pretty much from that moment making clear that any new mgs title would not happen, or would be whore sh*t incarnate.

 

Really, for a person like me there is no single reason to ever get myself a ps4.

 

Heck, if my current ps3 dies down i rather buy myself an other ps3 with free internet and a good controller instead of the sh*tty ps4 which it's unreliable crappy controllers, internet paywall and no single ps4 exclusive game that i even give a sh*t about anyhow.

 

edit: even if we only consider gtao, WHEN rockstar will give up on bringing any order into the game regarding cheaters, i will just get myself a mod menu and some unlimited fun.

I might be wrong, but I think the last day of the current event is today. When we have the usual Tuesday - Monday events Tunables get updated early EST on the Tuesday morning to kick the next event off.

 

So I'm guessing tomorrow morning EST based on that.

my vote for gunrunning is for late may so i say, short weekend event with 2X on everything ceo that goes from friday til monday with tuesday release.

I concur, I too voted for late May especially cause today's my birthday! But seriously despite the fact around June 20th is the beginning of Summer most people consider Memorial Day weekend the unofficial start of Summer and Rockstar's post states Gun Running and more, this Spring and Summer. The 'more' is another update sometime around August. And June is too close to summer for 2 DLCs to be dropped back to back IMO.

 

So, my prediction is the same as yours with the exception I could see some Gun Running info on Friday, then a trailer and second newswire on launch for either next Tuesday (with a special event weekend before Gun Running) or perhaps Rockstar possibly even rolling-out Gun Running on Friday.

Since they mentioned militiaS - plural - that means there will HAVE to be player owned ones, since merryweather is the only one in-game currently. Unless they plan on breaking their streak of only using groups that already exist.

 

correct me if im wrong, but didn't R* add those street racer npcs in I/E update that you'd have to steal vehicles from?

 

aside from that there were also the korean gang that i havent really interacted with since the ceo crate update or knocking them off their bikes on the resupply mission in bikers (idk if they existed prior to the updates)

 

not disagreeing with you that there have to be other player owned militias

but unless im wrong about what i stated, introducing a new npc/enemy group doesnt seem like too much of a farcry IMO

The only thing that has been keeping me sane is doing snaps and riding my helicopters around the map just to by some time. That and cargo work with some of my crew members.

 

Yeah..this lack of info has really gotten us by the balls but they better have that damn Hunter available towards us helicopter pilots on the day it's released. That alone will make up for the months of waiting.

I could live with a bomber that can not aim it's bombs accurate well enough unless flying really low within gun range, yet could really lit a place on fire.

I could also imagine that Rockstar adds more Special Vehicles (judging by the "extra" spaces with generators in the SV garage), or maybe add a whole new Special Vehicle garage(?).

If anything, it could be fun if they made a "v2" version of the JB 700 with working guns Personally I would love one without the guns (aka. a clean look), but that's just me.

Speaking of vehicles, we usually get the odd three or four civilian vehicles thrown into the mix. You know, to spend our hard earned cash on?

 

I'd personally love to see a Jaguar E-Type, Nissan 370z, Plymouth Superbird and the BAC Mono. I would have said the Supra and the old NSX, but then I'd be 80% of the forum, lmao.

 

I already said I would love the Ariel Nomad to come into GTA:Online. But I feel that this is the best time possible for it to appear, so I thought I'd leave it off the list.
