I wonder why R* for the past two days have uploaded blank tunables for the PC

Not blank but hidden to stop fun snooping around them hahaI don't think they can hide tunable updates like that. That would be like a background script.

i see rdr2 as the future of what is possible in gta 6, i dont mean there will be horses but that the graphics will resemble the ones in rdr2 or a fully modified gta v with like enb series mods running at 4k 60 fps...

this is exactly what i expect...

 

rdr would be their first game being built up for this newer consoles, so by the time the next gta is out they may have managed to harness even more from the system.

 

but overall i think graphic-wise rdr gonna be a preview of how think may look in gta VI

People want a new game. They have no concept how much work goes into creating a detailed map like the ones RS does, so to them, it seems reasonable to demand it because it will make the game fresh for a few more months. And for free, of course. Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie....

Not really, SP DLC would be identical to "Episodes from Liberty City".

Featuring two episodes, you load up GTA V and it would ask you which episode to load or you can load the original story.

It won't add anything to GTA Online, each episode would feature a story from the perspective of a specific character.

but with gtao being the main focus, having this "episodes" without adding nothing to online may cause them to flop, i think its safe to say more people care about gtao that they do for sp.

I use it to describe ppl who try to insult ppl in a passive aggressive way for having a different opinion. Ie calling ppl GREEDY CONSUMERS for wanting a map expansion.

So... it takes months for R* to release some cars and clothes... but people are still holding out hope for a whole new map? Do you know how much work that would involve? Not to mention we're also talking about last gen vs current gen assets, how that data is handled etc.

 

The possibility is extremely low to non-existent there'll be map expansions for GTA V. There's a greater possibility for something like this in RDR2 or GTA VI; but even then the possibility would be low.

 

It's also possible the next DLC will be about Japanese schoolgirls chasing down senpais. You cannot say for sure that is never going to happen, it is a possibility after all.

 

Right up there with winning the lottery and the playboy playmates breaking into your house and demanding you teach them how to love.

Did you see the info about GtaOnline's fiscal performance on Game Spot from Take 2's CEO?

 

Take 2 Interactive said they hit 80M copies sold and despite being a 3 year old game continuously break projected earnings, here's the exciting part... that players should expect to receive much more content for GtaOnline!

 

So, that says to me the budgeting is there for a map expansion if they and a Rockstar are making so much bank off the title and although it's a tall ask it's a doable one.

 

They are NOT going to expand the Los Santos map for free. Anyone desperately clinging to this hope is setting themselves up to be disappointed.

 

Now, whether other cities one day get added to Los Santos online, that is another matter. It wouldn't surprise me if RS has discussed this and isn't quite sure the direction online will take in the future.

I never mentioned a price point, don't assume that I did please.

 

Maybe an expansion would be a paid DLC, maybe not.

Are you under the impression they can just copy & paste a whole city from a last-gen game, tweak it a little bit, add a sprinkle of post processing & voila?

To me it is kinda boring if RS releases more and more new vehicles for driving them on the same old streets or new missions on the same old ground. This game lacks something new and fresh, which can be explored and discovered.

To be fair thats basicly what they did with gta 5.

A smart bussines man would actually try to get every bit of profit that he is able to get. If we would savely get 500 Million for a 100 Million investment (going with the example stated in this thread) he would be a fool if he would not do it (as long as it does not inerupt his other bussineses of course).
