So really why does everybody think June 6th? For the past year it always been 2 weeks after qabeta. Qabeta updated 1 week ago so that would put us on a release date of may 30th. Fun even said 2 weeks after qabeta updates and we all know fun is never wrong. I understand the speculation but why June 6th I mean there is so much more proof for a may 30th release date.

Just because it's normally two weeks later doesn't mean it can't ever be more than two weeks. There's definitely been times in the past where the update dropped 2.5/3 weeks after qabeta was updated.

June 6th seems the most likely because we're still far enough from the release date that Rockstar has room to make a proper announcement about its release date like they do with almost all updates. If it was coming out next week, we'd have a proper announcement about Gunrunning by now, not counting the tease in March.

well yeah but you also have to think we don't really need to get a proper announcement in time because I\E didn't even get a release date so its very likely we could get it on may 30th

Yeah but it would be far too close to the release date and looking at the way they announced the big updates in 2016 (FAFF, Bikers and I/E), they usually give off a proper announcement with release date around two weeks before release.

 

And yes, there's been multiple times where event weeks lead up to the update release but this could also happen with the event week after the next one, being that the current one ends Thursday, new one starts Friday and lasts until next Thursday and then we get an event week specifically made to get us ready for Gunrunning until the following Tuesday.

Very well could, I'm not as familiar with the modern Camero. The Rally Fighter/Brawler does though, that I'm sure of. Such an awesome, crazy idea. A lot of players seem disappointed by it, but i think the Brawler is a pretty darn accurate take on it. If you can find it, look for the youtube video where a Rally Fighter races a fan boat to see just what i mean by accurate interpretation lol...

 

30th or 6th, either way new stuff is near. Willing to ride this hype as long as it takes... new guns!!!!

I/E didn't get a release date but it did get a proper announcement of its release in December after it was teased in September. This also happened ~2 weeks before its release and something we haven't seen from Gunrunning yet.

Id say next 2 Tuesdays I wouldn't go as far as to say 3 Tuesdays plus that's E3 dumb decision to release on E3 especially when gunrunning is pretty much ready just needs to be verified from Sony and ms and that's 6 days from now that's why I'm thinking 100% may 30th.

I/E didn't get a release date but it did get a proper announcement of its release in December after it was teased in September. This also happened ~2 weeks before its release and something we haven't seen from Gunrunning yet.

Rockstar has "much more" planned in terms of content updates down the road for Online.

Funny thing: Merryweather operates in 20 countries across the globe in GTA lore. They are like the Atlas {from AW} of GTA.

 

Merryweather was recently approved to work on US soil, and they have a lot of money/experimental tech. This update will feature Merryweathers new US branch, reaching out for support in expanding their reach.

 

Merryweather tried developing a WMD for crying out loud. So they have the resources, and this update isn't going to be mad max, it's going to be prototype armored vehicles. (think the tank from Furious 8)
