My speculation is the following, Rockstar is ending this week's promotions on Thursday May 25th, my Birthday yay, which is not typical as events normally run TuesdayMonday.

 

So I believe the following scenarios are likely:

• Friday May 26th a Newswire is released which contains info about Gun Running (possibly a trailer) and a new event period from Friday thru Monday with Gun Running released on Tuesday May 30th
• Gun Running is dropped this Friday May 26th followed by a Newswire announcing DLC with trailer saying Play Now

So I'm confused and probably out of the loop - why are people expecting a Newswire post/Trailer/Release on a Friday? Did Rockstar chance their set ups from Tuesdays and Thursdays? All I'm aware of is the fact that no trailers have been released for GTA Online DLC on days other than Tues/Thurs in over a year.

Because event weeks don't end on Thursdays typically, they run Tursday to Monday and this event period ends on Thursday May 25th which is out of the norm.

 

Meaning IMO what I previously stated.

I played every cockstar game since vice city. I'd rather them make Bully 2 instead of RDR 2. I loved RDR but bully was on another level.

The DLC is ready. QABETA is updating most probably because are fine tuning the DLC by applying updates to it. this can go on a few times a day.

(This is my prediction)

May 26th, 2017 - First Information with screenshots & release date for Gunrunning.

June 1st, 2017 - Trailer for Gunrunning.

June 6th, 2017 - Gunrunning is out now.

 

Events Week before the Gunrunning DLC

(This is only my guess)

May 26th - June 1st, 2017 - Double RP & $ on all Deathmatchs, Captures, LTS, & two or three Adversary Modes. Discounts on all vehicles from War Stocks.

June 2nd - 5th, 2017 - Double RP & $ on two or three Adversary Modes & either with CEO or MC. Discounts on stuff from either Executive and Other Criminals, Finance and Felony, and Import and Export or Bikers.

June 6th, 2017 - Gunrunning is out now.

I would say high. With qabeta being updated and the event week ending at such an odd time it seems ripe for an announcement. As far as the 30th for release I'm not sure but I'm certainly hoping.

I'm assuming that Gunrunning will bring new CEO work, or whatever they call it, into freeroam. Things like Exec Search etc.

 

It would be good if they somehow manage to allow more than one of these jobs to be running simultaneously.

 

There could lobbies full of CEO firms, Biker gangs and the new thing. Lots of jobs going on at once in freeroam could be interesting!

 

Otherwise you might have to wait ages to get a turn of running one yourself.

The DLC being tested in QABETA IS Gunrunning. DLC's take months to produce. They can't just pull one out of their ass. Also with Red Dead 2 coming out in 2018, I doubt they have a full team of devs working on GTAO DLCs

Why does everybody think gunrunning is coming in June? Its coming may 30th there is so much more evidence for may 30th all of you who think June 6th just believe it because big youtubers say so let's be honest.

It's not because of YouTubers, chief. Rockstar released their June DLCs on the first Tuesday of June last year and the year before. We're going by patterns here; not YouTubers. Good try though.

Nope.

 

What we know so far:

-Initial newswire post

-Icons that fun found

-They reworked ammu-nation interiors

-Yan said "fairly big" DLC (anyone could have guessed that, so he didn't help us much so far)

-The fact that they touched something in the main audio files (never happened in 3.5 years)

-qabeta started updating a week ago

If there's no info by the 26th ... Urgh. Guess I'd survive. But still, I just want some idea of what's actually in it.

 

Why do they have to leave room for doubt? They should just give a good idea so we know whether or not to get excited for it.
