I wouldn't be surprised if we did get an option for a spoiler on the roof, from the MOC picture we can see the Phantom has a taller roof, so it could be another possible modification.

I wonder how long it'll be till it releases.

I think there'll be another bonus week with -50% off for the offices and warehouses and +25% to vehicle cargo sales like last time.

Because before a big update they'd like to make everyone "prepared"...

 

...by baiting people into spending their money on sh*t a week before the update so they'll have to buy shark cards.

The Kuruma, Insurgent, Technical, and Turreted Limo are on discount. If that's any kind of a hint as to which similar vehicles might be added... Thomas The Tank Engine might be worried, none of the attack helis are on discount.

I don't think that you'll work for the Merryweather either (like somebody suggested), as it's a "legal-ish" company (unlike Securoserv), that by the time of GTA Online often works for the U.S. government and would have no reason to trade weapons illegally.

I'm sorry I misunderstood what you said. I gonna say that I agree with him tho, by definition a military organization is "is the structuring of the armed forces of a state", so there can't be an illegal one since it technically works for the state (unless you meant a paramilitary one, but that's a totally different thing). Also, he never mentioned it as a "Mad Max style DLC", he simply said that, even if we will be able to obtain new high tech military stuff, we won't work for the military itself.

At no point did he reference anything remotely "Mad Max" like in his post, you pulled that completely out of your ass. We get it, you think it's going to be a fully fledged military DLC because the Newswire post used that word once. No need to go back to sh*tting on everyone else's speculation though.

March1 simply shared his tought and implies then everyone started doing the same thing and no one comes up with their speculation. At first there was a Biker V2 now there is Madmax theme. Rockstar itself says ILLEGAL ARMS TRADE(Illegal Army trade for non-english). I don't know how much time i have to repeat but in your perspective you think we would be normal soldiers with a Military organization meanwhile we steal and sell illegal stuff via CEO organization. Is merryweather a loyal organization? You pay them money to kill people. I'm just mad that Rockstar doesn't share any more hints so people could stop turning trains position... The only thing that's throwing me atm is the icons Fun posted. There's just a bunker. With CEO there's the office and warehouses, with bikers there's the clubhouse and businesses.

 

Will gun running be an addition to CEO or Bikers? (Hope not)

Will R* change how our organizations work? And have the one property serve all purposes.

Is it just the case that the icon for other buildings just not downloaded yet?

I think it's likely for Bikers so both MC and CEO work have 2 money making options each. Also the 2 or 3 season I watched of SOA all they ever worried about was buying or selling guns so I can see them borrowing aspects from that show again like they clearly did for TLAD.

think of it like the heist update, that update was not a full on military update, but included a bunch of military vehicles and equipment.

 

later with the ceo updates more military clothes have found their way into the game. so we shall expect more combat fatigues and accesories to be introduced.

 

would we become full on soldiers? no

would we be doing legal work? very unlikely

would we get access to military gear? absolutely

 

now can we please stop the pointless fight and sh*tposting everytime someone says is a military dlc?!

What's up with the flame!? I simply said i have a strong feeling that Gunrunning is a military dlc then a guy said it's not. I speculated while he threw it on me as a fact. Most people thinking military DLC envisions illegal militias and the like, not NOW WE'RE ZANCUDO MARINES, HOORAH. I feel it's perfect to add something like a Warlord or something, but I can't deny the SOA nod by having Bikers be gun running.

 

Wish we had more information to go on though. Would help both sides.

Well I think we will get a buyable skylift helicopter with gun running.

It could be very usefull to lift heavy military vehicles, a container full of guns, or a traincart. (Yes i think one of the missions for gunrunning will involve lifting a traincart (a scripted one of course, like the crashed train in one of the biker resuply missions.), filled with guns and transport it to your base.

You have some people, fully aware Gun Running won't be a Military fantasy jerkoff fest, that we are going to still be full on criminals doing crime, stealing Military gear and using it for our own nefarious deeds, who are calling it Military DLC.

 

That's fine.

 

But then you have the CoD types who actually believe that Rockstar is planning to bestow upon denizens of GTA Online an avenue in which to live out ever marine fantasy they've ever had... dressing in official BDU's, driving official vehicles, joining a battalion, moving as a squad, calling in air strikes, barking commands in a gruff voice at your soldiers OOHRAH WHISKEY TANGRO FOXTROT STAY FROSTY.

 

Those people ALSO call it Military DLC.

 

It is not possible, unless they elaborate, to differentiate the two.

 

So when I tell someone "it's not a MILTARY DLC", understand what I'm saying and who I'm saying it to.

think of it like the heist update, that update was not a full on military update, but included a bunch of military vehicles and equipment.

 

later with the ceo updates more military clothes have found their way into the game. so we shall expect more combat fatigues and accesories to be introduced.

 

would we become full on soldiers? no

would we be doing legal work? very unlikely

would we get access to military gear? absolutely

 

now can we please stop the pointless fight and sh*tposting everytime someone says is a military dlc?!

Most people thinking military DLC envisions illegal militias and the like, not NOW WE'RE ZANCUDO MARINES, HOORAH. I feel it's perfect to add something like a Warlord or something, but I can't deny the SOA nod by having Bikers be gun running.

 

Wish we had more information to go on though. Would help both sides.

Y'know, if we're Warlords, does that mean we're stealing cars from ourselves in that one Import/Export Mission? Now that make sense, how the Assistant calls us 'Butchers' and why exactly would he have a Lime Green Car (Reaper) and a Chrome Car (Z-Type)

I'm mixed. I know it most likely will be the former, but the BDUs, the more official vehicles, etc is what I'd love.

 

In the end,it doesn't even matter. Everyone will be disappointed equally!
