I really want to say that it's absurd we'd get off-topic content like jacked-up offroaders and mid-80's SUVs in a military-themed DLC, but then I remember that the Bikers DLC had a Ratrod, a Tron bike ripoff, a 60's van, and a trike that no one drives anymore since it wasn't fun to drive anyway.

^relax champ don't be so sensitive to forum responses. Opinions are opinions, you'll need to learn to deal with that reality brotha. There will be similarities between GR and Smuggler's Run. The real question and speculation I have yet to see stressed is the discounts that have sale prices with some well over the existing retail. Interesting the Karin Technical is based at 750k but in the sale price it ranges from 712,500-947,625?? Interesting? Maybe upgrades for these in the future? or transformations into a more beefy vehicle for runs?

I am relaxed and was pointing out who developed what? Since when did facts on which Rockstar Games Studio work on which game become an opinion?

 

Besides, a Smugglers Run themed update was something I requested/suggested a few years ago. (and recieved criticism for because "If I wanted to play Smuggler's Run I should go back and play it. GTA isn't a smuggling game" and that people like me were "Ruining the GTA franchise with asinine suggestions" lol)

 

I'm hoping the Gunrunning Update has some modes that are based on Smugglers Run. Or at the very least the McKenzie Airfield Arms Trafficking Air/Ground missions from SP. Cuban 800 bomber variant finally released in GTA:Online on Warstock?

 

One a side note, I've been wondering if the Gunrunning Update could bring back another familiar face. The Bikers Update intoduced the GTA:O protagonist to Malc from TLaTD. Maybe Gunrunning will introduce the GTA:O protagonist to Armando Torres from TBoGT. (Although I'm still hoping we'll get a Nightclub Update featuring Tony/Luis. With the ability to purchase and renovate our own Nightclub. Along with the Club Management side missions based on TBoGT, and the option to hire other players as Bouncers for the Club Management missions.)

Why the attitude? First of all, it was a serious question. You made it sound like you didn't realize it was a Rockstar game.

 

And 2, it doesn't matter if not even a single person who worked on Smuggler's Run still works at Rockstar - it's still a Rockstar game, and therefore part of the family, and therefore reasonable that Rockstar would pay homage to their history - it was their first 3D open world game. Smuggler's Run is just as important to GTA V as GTA III is.

 

In fact, the Bandito from San Andreas was itself an homage to Smuggler's Run.

 

Smuggler's Run was developed by Angel Studios, now known as Rockstar San Diego, who went on to develop games like Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, Max Payne 3.

 

But go ahead and take an attitude.

Umm... Rockstar San Diego didn't develope L.A. Noire, that was Team Bondi. Max Payne 3 was Rockstar Studios. If you're going to say Rockstar San Diego developed those games, then Rockstar San Diego developed GTA V too, and Rockstar North developed Red Dead Redemption.

 

Midnight Club: Los Angeles was the last game Rockstar San Diego developed on their own. Which is a shame because they used to make some great driving games: Midnight Club, Smuggler's Run, Spy Hunter.

URAL is militaria, i think it might be added. We'll see if some new files will be added with the miniracers update...

They are investing WAY to much into glitches right now for this player base to not carry over. They are literally disabling glitches 24 hours a day 7 days a week now. Something big they dont want many to afford without $$$$ is comming.

Now I have a suspicion that Gunrunning will be very similar to Smugglers Run... Driving along the map through multiple checkpoints... In effin' Freeroam and most probably only in Blaine County.

I personally DOUBT that you will be able to transfer your charactar to the next instalment of GTA Online.

Maybe, get some bonuses, but not transferring money or anything, after all the mechanic(driving, movement, combat, guns) are going to be very different, and I also doubt R* wants to tackle the problem of modders transferring hacked accounts from older versions AGAIN.

 

Makes more sense to just start off clean.

Also they are putting money into AntiCheat etc. to make a good look when Red Dead Online releases, at least that is what R* F. said on 4chan.

If you have that much of an issue with someone's posting habits then report thier posts. It's just as annoying to see the same people "correcting" other members that are "correcting" people, in multiple threads, multiple times in one day.

 

 

For everyone else, Tiny Racers is a tunables update, in other words, it's already in the game files and just has to be "turned on". There will be no vehicles added. If there were, they would have been leaked long ago.

 

A Title Update, requiring a download, will have new vehicles and content in it, including hidden drip release cars. This is typically what people refer to when talking about an update.

 

On Topic: I still think Ron may have something to do with this gun smuggling stuff. Ya know, helping TPI with stuff.

When I mention a trike that isn't fun to drive, then common sense dictates that it's the Raptor. The Chimera is glued to the ground, the Raptor feels like someone buttered up its suspension, so we all know what I meant.

Need the option to make it a wagon, the humvee slantback, 4 door soft top pickup, and the 2 door pickup.
