I heavily doubt that, it'll most likely be related to SecuroServ since Rockstar is obsessed with the idea of a heavily-decentralized shadow corporation.

I dunno, Merryweather seem pretty firmly in the 'enemy' category of each faction, despite our players being able to use their services. We didn't join the Lost in the Bikers update, so I doubt we would join Merryweather in this one. We'll see though.

Anyone else hoping we get a purchasable P-996 with Gunrunning? The Hydra is great but I prefer the 996's handling and looks tbh. I only ever use the Hydra as a super quick helicopter or a swift fire and forget at the end of some missions.

Well making the lazer purchaseable would not do much damage since we allready have the hydra, so why not. Its a fun aircraft and i would definitly buy one.

I actually think adversary modes are one of the best additions to the game they're like an evolution of the versus missions I always wanted to play but no one ever joined. It's a mode with the best example of blending the variety of scenarios offered in single player missions into a competetive mode. Modes like hasta la vista and the speed ripoff one remind me of missions from past games that I now get to play in a pvp scenario.

 

The only problem is it all feels disjointed and some of the recent ones immersion breaking. I guess one way they could have made sense of having super powers in one mode to riding tron bikes the next is if each adversary mode was us doing stuntwork for a scene in a film. Maybe call it something like Vinewood magic instead of adversary lol.

 

Yeah there have been quite a few bad ones but I appreciate the experimentation. It beats more repetitive contact missions of driving somewhere to collect something.

I can understand people being disappointed to get a bad adv mode instead of something good, but I think people tend to lack appreciation that we get anything at all. I'm just glad Rockstar hasn't stopped supporting the game even for a moment.
