I'm going to be staying up until 4 or 5 am tonight, I'm on the east coast and as I write this it's 10:20 PM. Do you think I should restart my game at Midnight and see if it shows up, or....?

Never played SAMP? Because that's where the Cunning Stunts inspiration came from. As a matter of fact, MOST of GTA Online is heavily inspired by SAMP and MTA.

No. It is 100% speculated, but not 100% certain. Not until Rockstar says so.

 

A fellow modder named Threepwood developed the EPM script for foldable convertible rooftops, retractable spoilers among other car functions for IV mods. Rockstar used that for their convertible cars in V. They take a lot of inspiration from modders which is why they said they have no problems with SP mods.

 

Also, Rockstar accidentally tweeted and deleted the DoD launch last weekend. Many people took screenshots of the deleted tweet. So in a way its confirmed for release.
