Their Tweet was a huge fail. The person who Tweeted it scheduled that Tweet yesterday, but misread their release schedule, so they thought the DoD was coming out today instead of the pajamas. As soon as it got tweeted, someone else deleted it because they obviously realized it was wrong. No need to say that this person most likely got screamed at when they got into the office this morning, lol.

i don't think the duke release will impact info on red dead.

 

thing is i feel that we should have seen some new info already but because of the problems it seems to have on development ,we might be some ways off :'( .

The intern who handles the twitter account can easily check with their manager if they're going to release a car or not, because if they did speak with their manager, they wouldn't have sent a false tweet and delete it instantly.

 

This fiasco proved that there's a weak method of communication between managers and employees in Rockstar's HQ, and that right there is a good example of incompetence. You can excuse any regular dude to make a mistake on social media, but not a multi-million dollar company, so don't trivialize this as a "so what?".

calling this a fiasco is what i call overreaction, even more when we are talking about a simple unlockable vehicle on a video game haha

I feel after the amount of money they've made with GTA V and Online they'd be able to make a game in 3 years but of course it's R* so they take half a decade. I don't think they have any development problems tbh. It's just Rockstar's marketing strategy.

The amount of time taken to make a game is not proportional at all with money in a big company (upgrading technology sure but that isn't the biggest factor)... It's unimaginable the amount of work that goes into developing a game, trust me, especially Rockstar's that are getting more and more complex. And... AAA studios don't work in only one game. There's probably stuff you haven't heard of yet, and very likely GTA VI.

After that tweet it's pretty much confirmed. My guess is they don't want to have more than 2 weeks without giving us some new content (not counting adv. modes) so they put DoD in the middle between last car from CS and Gunrunning. So my prediction is May 2nd. Could be wrong ofc.

 

Or they could give us another car or something that wasn't in online.. depends if the dlc is ready by then. I wish there was some small dlc with nice clothing instead of those stupid special races

Ah, hey, you again. I was quoting someone who said R* isn't showing RDR2 because they're having "Development Problems".
