I just came home for my Dukes.. No go?. No car at all?. What does this even mean, Gunnrunning contains the Dukes?, Gunnrunning must be VERY soon.

Myself and others told you and other like you REPEATEDLY not to expect anything because it was never announced. And you (collectively) ridiculed us.

 

I won't speak for the others, but I would appreciate an apology.

Apology because Rockstar delayed it a week to troll us?. You muppets think it isn't even comming. It'll be here soon enough.

It's not a troll if they never promised it today. That word is soooo played out if I never hear it again it will be too soon.

You have to admit it's kind of weird to have 4 cars in an update and skip a week. Have they ever done this before?.

Gunrunning can be available in 50 days (on May 30th the last Tuesday of spring) because Rockstar said "GUNRUNNING AND MORE COMING LATER THIS SPRING & SUMMER"

R* didn't say "MORE COMING LATER THIS SPRING GUNRUNNING THIS SUMMER" they said the opposite.

 

Gunrunning coming in spring and more (different) content coming in the summer is how they likely wanted us to interpret it. When they mentioned spring they were not talking about the dripfeed cars from the special vehicle races. They were talking about gunrunning. I'm sure of it. This is a huge detail and it seems like too many are overlooking this and just going by June for no good reason. If Gunrunning is coming in June then that would be the first time ever that Rockstar announced an update and it came out four solid months later (120 days after being announced in this case) Rockstar never does it like that and have us wait 4 months in advance for an update. The longest wait between one update and another was 91 days and that was for I/E. It would be about 120 days if gunrunning was released in June counting the first day as march 13th when gunrunning was first mentioned by rockstar on the newswire.

But I told you and the others repeatedly that the DoD was NOT part of Cunning Stunts Special Vehicle Circuit, and that there was literally NO solid evidence that it was coming today, and you ridiculed me for it.

 

I want an apology. I was right. You were wrong. DoD IS coming, but as part of a different DLC event- not Special Vehicle Circuit, and we now know this for sure.

 

It wasn't held back to troll. That's idiotic.

 

Again, it's FAR more logical that it's coming with Gun Running. I won't put my money on it, but it's what makes the most sense.

Nah. They may slow down and the size of the updates may shrink (but honestly, what left is there to add other than vehicles?) but GTAO prints money hand over fist. They will at the very least drip feed million dollar cars until they pull the plug.

The player base isn't. According to Rockstars last quarterly statement they had more players in GTAO than ever before. It won't last forever, but it will certainly last while it brings in hundreds of millions of dollars for a relatively low overhead and that's exactly what it is doing right now, and will continue to do for the foreseeable future.

 

Publicly held and traded companies do not crap on their cash cows, and in fact they don't really have a choice. They have a fiduciary responsibility to make cash for their shareholders. That's how stock works. They literally have a responsibility to reasonably do what they can to make a return for the people holding sock. Shutting down GTAO would not just be a bad idea, it would likely get them sued, successfully by those shareholders. If it was puttering along and costing the company money or breaking even that would be a different story, but it's really really far from that right now.

I got a new offer yesterday, 30% bonus on Whaleshark and above.

 

50% doesn't even tempt me these days. If they halved the price or did a 100% bonus in the build up to Gunrunning I might just get one for the hell of it.

And not to mention the Kuruma is better pvp wise. The only advantage the Dukes got is it's ramming power and taking one explosive before blowing up. Funny thing about it was people thought it was overpowered.
