Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 3)

Sometimes are wonder if they just take the piss or are just very full off themselves.

I think it's to keep you guessing. they obviously know what the playerbase wants and because of that they can keep you waiting for it. frustrating tactics but very effective.

These adversary modes may be the weakest excuse for content I've ever seen in a game. They can literally throw them together at will and you can tell by the sheer volume and pace they keep with them. I have yet to like a single one, and that's probably because I only enjoy freeroam PVP if I'm even going to do it at all. Well I guess it's back to Titanfall 2, Killing Floor 2, & old emulator games until I hear about them dropping the DoD and Blista Compact.

i know all of this sh*t is free but it doesn't mean they shouldn't be creative.

 

adding neon lights to what's actually a capture yet again is far from that.

 

and this isn't because the DOD is not with us yet,it's the lack of creativity in each game mode they release that "triggers" me.

 

oh and a fancy newswire article doesn't make it good.

This game has three years do not put too much expectation on it. The dod will be released to fill this month and the next dlc as Yan said will not be too big so stop so they were not yelling after.

 

You're wrong! GTA is not like the other games. Nobody gives a damn if it was released 4*years ago. This is not a game where you get bored in few days maybe weeks and throw it away. It's GTA! A legendary franchise. I get it, they are releasing a big game soon and in just few days or weeks till they'll showcase it. But that doesn't make them outnumbered to release a goddamn ingame car. Nor outnumber to release a goddamn dlc where there is Rockstar and Rockstar North. We will have too much expectations sir. If you think thos game is old and why people still play it, you're free to leave the wagon.

Just cause it's popular doesn't mean it wont end sometime. North is busy. They're split into 4 teams. I bet the maximum amount of people working on GTAO is 10.

The GTA launch team consisted of a little over 1200 developers, since then those numbers have diminished. It would take 10 developers much longer than 3 months to complete and release a DLC. I'd say they have at least 200 people on staff for the GTA Online project. They won't let their cash cow die that easily.

 

Isn't North consisted of like 350+ people or something though? Whatever, i'd say 40 devs at max but then again even that's too much. Remember, most of these DLCs have been in development for a long time. I/E was in development since last year, so they've definitely put thought into these updates. So saying that having 20 people on board would make it impossible to release a new update every 2 months is invalid.

"Kill your hype" They've never talked about a "MASSIVE" update. They've said that they'll have upcoming content til SPRING. That's it. Even if this game keeps getting updated it'll be new Adversary Modes and Cars.

This coming from the guy who had a modder spawn one on PC and you stored it if I recall correctly. Congrats, you get to be a special snowflake for another week.

 

The new adversary mode is a glorified TDM. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Decent source of cash if you have a good team.

I'm beginning to think it was a concerted effort conspired between the top YT clickbaiters of the community to make an extra dollar during this slow period by saying that the Duke O'Death was coming today. I feel sorry for the people that believe them so easily, the reaction is cringeworthy.

I'd say the DoD is currently the most wanted car that's in the game and unavailable for sure. Makes sense people would be complaining when it's held back for an adversary mode that seems to be quite similar to one we've already got.
