That is true, however in his earlier post he didn't claim to be the source, he said that he had found something on 4chan and wasn't sure if he was allowed to share it here.

 

I was interested to see what was found, it is now clear that will not be posted so I will let the issue rest as the staff desire.

I feel like there is a major pop culture tie in for the gun running to tie into bikers. And the last update was an add-on to ceo so it's not out of the question of adding the other business to bikers. In top of that gun running just feels more county than city, where biker businesses are already.

I want a Ghillie suit. Literally an outfit covered with leafs(color choice) for the game. Too much? Let's see what rockstar gives us. Imagine being in Secret/Hidden Organization(better than off radar) and sniping people from the top of a mountain. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan....... What do you guys think?

So you expect a military organization to have a bunker in the city eh? I feel like Gunrunning is not a Biker v2 since it's being said that it is a MASSIVE UPDATE. Makes sense aye?

 

Game is loosing major interest! A Biker V2 would literally make people stop playing it. +Ceo v2 shouldn't be.. I mean nothing should be considered as a part 2 update unless it's like i'll gotten gains. Import/export brought a 60 cars carage which is very useful! It's like the necessary stuff! Now everyone got bored of Bike and CEO. What's left? Military! Maybe an alien invasion dlc next year but hey! Makes sense right?

OT - I like the idea of a Ghillie suit but keep in mind that unless the suit hid your blip and name tag it would be literally pointless. Might be good in an adversary mode or something like that though.

First of all, if you are at the top of many mountains you will not be able to snipe anything effective.

Because first of all, any smart player ill see your hud while you will also be forced to move since sniping in this game is pretty much dancing/shooting.

There is a reason that many players easely dealth with people wearing invisible outfits.

and even if it does have a huge advantage, sure i am not per se against ghillie suits, but if they are to good anyone will wear them making for sh*tty gameplay.

 

Besides that you can not say for sure that there will be no bunkers in the city, nobody simply knows.

 

further, biker dlc in fact WAS a major update, even though the jobs were again flawed like hell and it brough a sh*tload of bugs, it was still a huge update with a lot of content.

On top of that, updates being partially implementing extensions of certain organisations in gtao do not determine the size of updates.

 

also the game losing major interest is a myth, especially if things would be propperly implemented or it contains a lot of what i call "community wet dreams"

 

Implement 50 car hangars, loads of balanced nice weapons, armed/armored vehicles and some gambling activities and it does not matter if it is either an extension of CEO or bikers.

You missed the point. Just because it says something in the name doesn't mean it is. Slamvan is based off an old chevy pickup. The roadtrain is just an example. Roadtrain is just a nickname for 18 wheelers. they're not really called roadtrains.

Sequel updates are always recognized as continuations from the very first words rockstar posts. Rockstar always confirms straight away if an update is the continuation of a previous one. Import/Export wasn't a guessing game, we knew it was for "Savvy CEOs" Rockstar aways leads you in the right direction in terms of hype and what you should base your expectations on for that update. Our first impression of the next update "GUNRUNNING" is that it's military themed and will include brand new weaponized military vehicles, new missions including "the craziest militias across the state of San Andreas" and a "illegal arms trade" business, hence GUNRUNNING. Sounds like a stand alone mercenary organization to me, one that the military crews and players have been waiting more than 3.5 years for.

The devil's in the details. Rockstar said precisely what they wanted us to know about gunrunning and ultimately what to base our expectations on. The first reveal post by Rockstar did not say a single word about "riding" "biking" "MC' or anything about the MC organization or the CEO organization. The fact that they didn't mention this says a lot. That said, please get off the 'Bikers 2.0' bandwagon for gunrunning and stop adding unnecessary confusion towards this update (guests on this thread are most definitely getting confused when members say gunrunning = bikers 2.0 and the YouTubers spread this nonsense even further). Gunrunning being a bikers thing is a very poor 'speculation' since there is no legitimate argument or evidence supporting it at all. There is a 0% reason to believe the bikers update and gunrunning are related in any way, seriously keep that hot air to yourselves its your reputation. Basing your expectations on what we do know about gunrunning instead of wishlisting for more bikers content like the Lost Slamvan. The MC community waited years for the Bikers update. The military community is waiting even longer for their themed update. Ask yourself this: Does it make any sense to have two formal Biker updates before a single military one? The MC community got more than what they asked for. I thoroughly enjoyed that update when it was new. Rockstar delivered their request and crossed it off the list. I see us moving forward now, I wouldn't expect a Bikers continuation update anytime soon. It doesn't seem like a priority anymore. What would Bikers 2.0 even add? Beards, the lost slamvan and a couple new bikes? Seems minuscule and only a fraction of the online community would be excited for another bikers update. I'm just saying, this is just my opinion. The military community has to be next in line for a themed update dedicated to their wishes. If a Bikers 2.0 does come out sometime this year then that's great, everyone should be satisfied with what appeals them to their favorite game and the rollplay experience organizations can offer in GTA Online.

At this point in April it's getting disappointing and slightly ridiculous how divided we are about gunrunning. It's counter productive that we are not all on the same page based on what Rockstar said about gunrunning. This degrades the speculation potential for this update and the focus of this very thread. Why are we not on the same page about gunrunning? Rockstar was loud and clear that this is a proud military update. That's the impression that they want us to have. I have yet to read or see any proof or legitimate arguments surrounding gunrunning being an extension related to Bikers or CEO. It's clear to me that the majority of us on here are convinced that gunrunning will be a third rival organization and something we have never seen before in freemode. I cannot wait for the upcoming multiple paragraph post on the newswire for gunrunning, the pictures too. I'm very confident that it will vanquish the hot water of confusion that this update currently marinates in. Perhaps then we can move this hype train to its next destination, together.

The 'just a name argument' doesn't really work when the name is clearly intended to be used for something else. Calling a utility a 'van' makes about as much sense as calling a 4x4 a sports car. Can you imagine a world where the next V12 GT Ferrari was called 'Ferrari Fourby'? Or a world where the Defender replacement is called the 'Land Rover HyperKar'? Yes, they can call it whatever they like. Doesn't make it any less stupid.

 

And actually, yes. They are called roadtrains. An 18 wheeler is just that, a vehicle with 18 wheels. A typical roadtrain has 24 or more. Sometimes over 30. It'd be dumb to call a vehicle with 32 wheels an '18 wheeler'. sh*t, most lorries don't even have 18 wheels outside of the USA and Canada.
