Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 3)

I don't see why some people are so eager to see the return of the Squaddie. The Barracks more than certainly fills in the role it would take. Not only is the Barracks larger and would be able to hold more cargo, it's also far more efficient for pushing vehicles out of the way. At most, the practicality I'd see in the Squaddie would be holding people in the back. Even then, there are far better military themed vehicles to transport people around such as either of the Insurgents.

 

 

Also, just noticed Mach is a mod now.

Well, i would simply love the implementation of an off-road vehicle that actually is good at going off-road.

the barracks is based on an off-road beast that could survive insane amounts of water, mud and climb like a mountain goat, and though it sure is not handling as bad off-road as the dubsta 6x6, there is a lot of room for improvement.

The only few vehicles that are not sport cars, super cars or bikes i find going really well over off-road terrain, are the regular dubsta, dune buggy, bf injection, bf bifta, utility truck, dune, the ballers, and maybe a few others.

 

Besides that, most other so called off-road vehicles need a traction buff and an off-road traction loss nerf.

No, we need more aircraft. Or more accurately, different aircraft. They've added like a dozen slight variations of the business jet and the executive helicopter and nothing else save for the Hydra, Besra, and giving more people access to the Dodo. We're way overdue for some new aircraft.

 

Cunning Stunts would've been a great excuse to give us something like a fast and shiny stunt Duster or a gyrocopter. The multiple rich people updates could've have given us all sorts of recreational aircraft, like a Staggerwing, or rare prototypes like the Bugatti 100P. Bikers could've given us little Cessnas and the like for drug smuggling. Import/export could've given us a new cargo plane (preferably one we could drive a car inside of) or that skycrane from SP. But nope, nothing but reskinned executive jets and choppers that are barely distinguishable in either looks or performance.

 

At bare minimum, Gunrunning should give us the Hunter, some sort of new fighter jet, and make the Lazer purchasable. Ideally we'll get a vintage dogfighter like the Rustler, and personally I think it needs a companion, maybe something modeled after a P-38. And a V-22 would give us a VTOL troop carrier, which could open up some new gameplay opportunities.

Unless of course certain people don't want those things. Which includes me. I just want to run guns and much more gun customization. Please Rockstar.

Why do you not want new aircraft?

I don't mean to attack you or anything, I'm just curious as to why you wouldn't want another piece of aircraft. I'm all down for another plane or helicopter, just as much as another gun or car.

I am never in them. I don't use them. I have too many already. I only own one that outruns a HL. I doubt if any new ones do come they will outrun a HL. I would personally get more use out of a military suv. Just my 2 cents. I hope gunrunning has many military ground vehicles. Maybe a motorcycle with rockets like the FL ruiner.

If you can avoid a HL in a savage or a buzzard, then I'm sure you'll be able to avoid one in another "new aircraft".

everyone thought street racing cars ect like from that video and we got is a lite version of it.

 

even the dlc cars is based of that ff style

yes i know you cant please everyone but just how newswire hype it to death and then the update comes out and some of us are like this is it?

 

like imports its another fetch style quest go here and escape the cops ect. like missions we had in year 1. same formula just with a shinny new coat of paint.

Yes. That sounds amazing. But if that ever happens there will be massive balance issues. Either overpowered as f*ck like BF1 on release, or way too weak like the vast majority of aircraft in this game.

 

Now that I think of it, that'd be fantastic for an adversary mode. 1 team defending in a blimp with AA positions & a ton of armor, while another team attacks in jets and heli's. That would be brilliant, but it won't happen.

Not to mention even the current (pretty underpowered) helicopters can take on tanks, as well as Ruiners

- so, new aircraft? They definitely have plenty of potential uses.

I'm sitting here and expecting customizable knives and grenadelaunchers on rifles here you talk about gunrunning could be a biker dlc 2'ish thing... Our guy leaked 2 icons ingame files already. My Rumpo Custom feels insulted to not be in that list. Its beast torque beats an insurgent on climbing a +75° incline. ( tested it with a friend a while ago )

dodging a HL in a savage or valkyrie is quiet hard, you have to be close enough to the target and the HL have to be fired directly in front of you, this way you can dodge it easily and the HL don't make a magical U-turn to hit you, or if it was shoot from back from a certain distance, you could use the environment as a shield (a building, a tree, a crane, etc.) once you can do this, you're literally the death from above

So i am the only one who doesn't care that much about the DOD? don't know but for me it lost it's flavour a while back.

 

BUT i am happy for the people that finally get there treasure so now it's time to get the realy intresting stuff in the form of a newswire article giving us info about gunrunning ASAP.

But if june is the release date then they Will ofcourse drag it out with another filler. And perhaps drip feed all the advesary mode that might come with it aswell.

You tremble with anticipation and frustration until finally, Rockstar unleashes their hot, throbbing pleasure into you and onto you. In the moment it's euphoric, but afterward you sit there, contemplating the sweat, the smells, the sounds, every extra flab of body fat and imperfection in the skin... somewhat disappointed, wondering if it just wasn't that good in general, or if perhaps no reality could have ever matched up to your fantasy.

 

And then you get in GTAF and bitch incessantly until the next time Rockstar rubs their bulge against you on the dance floor.
