confirmed by Rockstar for the Gunrunning DLC.

"Weaponized" does not necessarily imply military. Gunrunners could be a Bikers extension with a Bifta 2000 and Armored Slamvan.

 

Last time I played gta online, I did some mc missions and i noticed there is a mission called gunrunning.

 

Which made me think that the gun running dlc also could be a expansion for mc's. Just like the import export dlc was a addition to ceo department.

 

Rockstar said "Wage war with the latest in high-powered military hardware". It didn't even say a stinking old attack chopper :]. Could be a F29 vs S-400s .

All these classic vehicle requests makes me think GTA VI should be set a couple of decades ago.

 

I don't think i could play a GTA that isn't set in our current time anymore. Can't really explain why.

If nothing else, the more modern a GTA game's setting, the more vehicles you can include. And music, clothes, etc., by the same logic.

 

As in, you can have a game set in 2017+, and still cruise down the highway in a Testarossa while blasting out 'Hip to be Square' by Huey Lewis

Driving a TestaRossa in 1987 and driving a TestaRossa in 2017 is not the same, but I get what you are saying. As much as it kills me to imagine Vice City set in modern times, modern Miami is still know for it's nightlife and expensive cars, Miami and sharks go hand in hand, if you know what im saying. For the sake of my well being I envision the Next GTA being set in a modern Las Venturas and San Fierro

We discused this a few weeks ago when he posted the hud icons for the bunker and the supplies. I missunderstood him and asked him if he knows if the lost mc slamvan comes out with gunrunning when its an Expansion of bikers and he answered something along the lines of: "Its not an expamsion to bikers but its something similar because we are collecting supplies."

All these classic vehicle requests makes me think GTA VI should be set a couple of decades ago.

naa what makes classic vehicles so appealing is the fact they are old and not in the game, its all about nostalgia.

 

 

I'm telling you guys. GTA VI(ce city) - with the yellow part as a broken blinking neon sign.

R* loves name puns. They won't miss out on opportunity like this. Bring back the 80!

 

for years now people have speculated we going back to vice city because the name fits perfectly, but even if we go back there, i dont see them rewinding time, sending us back to the 80s.

 

very likely they would want us to transition from V to VI via some sort of character transfer, so unless they build a time machine, going back to the 80s is not gonna happen.

Fun said a couple weeks ago something like "it would like Bikers 2.0" refering to the structure of the organization.

 

then when on to specify it was not a bikers expansion but would work very similar. more likely to get a new title like "warlord"

 

 

which is what i have been saying since this was announced, a new business hat, we got VIP, CEO, Mc President and Warlord!!!

Hmm.. Interesting. it's so difficult for me to speculate on this topic. Because there is nothing to hold of. And the gunrunning theme fits so well for ceo as well as for mc(at least in my opinion).

 

Of course the possibility of something whole different and new is absolutely understandable for me but I don' know if rockstar really want to create something whole different and new just for the last dlc. (Yeah, I really thing this will be the last dlc for gta online. I've my reasons for that but don't want to write to much on that point for now, to keep this post as short as possible.)

 

Unfortunately I don't know how programming

Or creating games and content work, but I just think it would be easier to add the new content to the already existing(ceo or mc) then creating something new from the scratch.

There is no such thing as GTA V Online, and it is never called that because it's not the name of the online game. The gamer is Grand Theft Auto Online and the number was left off on purpose. It was discussed by Rockstar before the game came out at least once stating that they deliberately left the number off.

 

Also, the only reason transfers worked badly last time is because they allowed transfers from cracked platforms.

Sounds about like there is a fair chance for that to happen indeed.

I mean..cant say for sure but they did did leak that updates would be dropping till spring/summer.

 

After that...nobody knows

i wouldn't mind it that much tbh. it's been a couple years i think it's time that they let it rest.

 

doesn't mean i'm not "gratefull" for what rockstar did for us but it's been long enough.

 

even when it's a brand new update i can't help but feel it's more of the same stuff these days.

 

yes i still play it weekly but only when i want to take a break from other games.

 

it has become a "snack routine" at this point .

 

but that's just my opinion and i don't decide things

Yea it could be, just think about it. The 1st CEO update was about stealing and selling crates, the 2nd was also about bikers stealing and selling crates, the 3rd was about stealing and selling cars to make money and now the 4th one will be about stealing and selling high powered weapons from military bases and other places that has guns.

Weirdly enough, I actually agree with you. Knowing that there won't be any more big DLC's left, I won't need to constantly be grinding and can just chill and mess around instead of always worrying about my bank balance

The latestn Hitman game has been successful with a similar model. To be honest, I think an L.A. Noire game that released new cases regularly would be wildly popular, as long as they also added things like vehicles and clothes along with the cases.

 

In many ways I believe that a L.A. Noire successor would be a better candidate for GTA Onlines update model than Red Dead Redemption 2.

 

Edit: OT: If the DoD is added this Tuesday, I think we will also see some kind of Newswire post for the next update shortly afterwards.

Is agent still a thing? Haven't they been making that since way before gta v? Either way, I personally have no interest in either of those, la noire was OK but quite dull and tedious. In fact the only other rockstar game I've really liked is red dead, and that weren't from North.

yea well, i honestly would like to rockstar fix their sh*t and then only leave the game as it is, but that ain't gonna happen because "cash cards" anyhow, and to be fair, i can imagen a lot of content i would still like to see implemented, but if that means more chance of the game becomig more broke and unbalanced, like has been happening ever since ill gotten gains, i honestly pass on that.

I´m sorry if this has been mentioned before or something , but may I ask why the update for fixing the infernus C was 700 Mb big on PC (it was only 100 MB big on consoles right ? )

the infernus wasn't the only vehicle effected by the bug.
