Like already said, military hardware could mean as much as just a old surplus weapon like a mosin nagant replica and an other ak-47 styled gun.

I think you're missing an important word there.

latest in high-powered military hardware.

It's not gonna be old stuff.

Well i that case: How about an AK 12.

or to put it simply it will be the exact same money sinking format that the last two have been.

It's an investment. If you don't even get your money back then that's on you.

I made a profit, huge actually.

or to put it simply it will be the exact same money sinking format that the last two have been.

my initial investment on the ceo crates business was around 12million, i made 40million, which is a 28million profit.

i was a bit burned with ceo thing, so with the bikers business i when with the cheapest, 860k investment, made a million before i shutdown, 140k in profit.

with imports i invested 1.5million and make around a million... not much of a lost.

all this businesses are a money sink if you dont do some work, but if you do, you could get a return of investment in a couple days.

I have a horrible sneaking suspicion that R* will just add this as yet another thing they add to your office computer, and it's another SecuroServ expansion.

Which would annoy me no end, because I'm not touching the whole office/CEO thing with a bargepole, and if R* insists on turning GTAO into 'SecuroServ Online'... :sui:

Why do you refuse to use CEO exactly?

Partly the 'theming' - I get the impression that R* feels everyone playing GTAO has the end goal of being some corporate kingpin, but ...eh, that's not for me. Same with Bikers - don't care for the vehicles, or the clothes, or ...anything about motorcycle clubs, frankly. Yeah, that means effectively missing out on an entire update, but just can't pretend to be interested in any of that. Same with both of the Lowriders updates, in fact.

Beyond that, it's just not all that fun in the long run, IMO ('your mileage may vary', an' all that) - and that's before having to wangle things in order to get a solo 'public' lobby, rather than have to deal with randos. MC work is a bit more interesting, at least (but again, I've no interest in being a biker, so nope), and Import/Export stuff is ...actually more my kind of thing, if only I could just buy the warehouse independently of an office, and run the whole thing from the garage backroom instead.

(and choose not to buy the Bond villain underground lair on top - because I'm not that fussed about the Special Vehicles, either... :p)

TL;DR Same reason as why I don't own any lowriders, choppers or hypercars: if I'm not at all interested in something, I can't justify blowing money on it just because 'it's something to do' or 'it's new'.

Crates/ Bikers/ MC are the best updates R* made IMO, even better than Heists. R* made money making easier with Crates/ MC, and effortless with Vehicle Cargo.

New military vehicles are already confirmed by Rockstar for the Gunrunning DLC.

"Weaponized" does not necessarily imply military. Gunrunners could be a Bikers extension with a Bifta 2000 and Armored Slamvan.

while you got a valid point, they also mentioned "high-powered military hardware" which can range from a rifle that shoots jet cannon type of rounds to new tanks or attack helis.Or a heavy sniper revamped based on the barrett m107a1 :p

Anyone think this could be from the upcoming update?

I'm guessing you didn't played these businesses much (CEO, Bikers), just checked them when they were new and never touched it again, right? None of them is bad, especially when you do both CEO and Bikers together. I made millions with them, still making a 1.5-2.5 Million a day. Say what you wanna say about special vehicles or other things but every business is great for making money if you know what to do.

Or think happy thoughts...like baby harp seals :)

If we don't get the Hunter I'll be as angry as a polar bear.

We've had a lot of that already though - and its been a painfully long time since we had any actual military vehicles.

Plus with the "latest high-powered military hardware" bit ... It's kind of like, heists could have meant missions around robbing little stores technically - it's not its most likely meaning though, and honestly if there aren't military vehicles, then that's kind of a troll move on Rockstar's part.

I agree that the "theming" hasn't been that great. But I just try to use it in a way where it becomes acceptable for my characters story.

The corporate business isn't real, it's just a front for illegal business. My MC clubhouse is just an extra garage for my bikes and a way for me to be a drug kingpin, I don't care about choppers or the lifestyle. I couldn't care less about lowriders but I like racing so I have the Sabre Turbo Custom...

Just because I'm not totally interested in something doesn't mean I won't try to find the silver lining in them...

That drum beat certainly sounds militaristic. Could definitely be something for Gunrunning IMO.

As for the rest...it aint the first time rockstar is doing pretty much the same thing over again in a revamped way...just saying...

I can imagine it playing while following a military convoy. It definitely sounds army themed to me.

Here how I think gunrunning gonna work

- Resourse unmodified fire arms and rugged vehicles, store them in the bunker

- Then customize these fire arms and unarmed vehicles with weapons and deliver them to buyer

Just like I/E, but weapons & armory related

Total speculation on my end.

Happy Hunter

I can imagine it playing while following a military convoy. It definitely sounds army themed to me.

A large group of ground brethren march in a convoy of APCs, new tanks, and anti-air tanks. A Hunter hovers over looking out for them - honourable guardian that the Hunter is. An unidentified jet can be seen in the distance - it vaguely resembles an A10.

Then it cuts to a shot of an armed Titan, flying at high altitude. It drops a little nuke on a Ruiner 2000.

Pretty much the same - only thing being that in the case of, say, SecuroServ or MCs, it's just a stretch too far.

Meanwhile, something like the yacht? Eh, just about the upper limit for me - I can justify the whole 'celebrity lifestyle accessory' thing, so that's fine.

Gun-running? Depends - I suspect that again, it'll be just too far out of my interests to want to opt in, but I could be wrong. And maybe there'll be some stuff in there that'll be interesting - perhaps if they throw a bone to folks with different tastes, and add a variety of vehicles/outfits/whatever into the mix.

this dancing around with sniper rifles and sitting in my jet all day being capable to kill anything i want is really ridiculous.

Total speculation on my end.

not bad at all...

they could use elements of all previous businesses and roll them into 1 business under the warlord title.

we could go out to steal weapons/vehicles from other groups like the crates business.

modify and sell like imports business

produce and sell our own bullets, explosives, etc etc like the biker business.

Could we be registering with merryweather next month? or will we be creating an expansion of our c.e.o as a privatized military corp, ever expanding our grip as king pins of running Los Santos?

we wont team up with merryweather, we may end up battling against them and eachother, for total control of the city.

im almost sure it will be a new title, like Warlord with it own special location, special building and it own computer connected to a private network that deals with weapons and stuff.

It's an investment. If you don't even get your money back then that's on you.Exactly. Gotta spend money to make money ...

My initial investment for CEO work was $5.1 Millions combined. I made $105 Millions (60M crates & 45M cars. VIP work not included) & counting... So that's a Hundred Million Dollars in profit.
