My guess is that they are planning to release the RPB vehicles & DoD this tuesday or update the current event with more bonuses.

Any specific date of release in regards to the gunrunning dlc? I'm ready for some lonewolf grinding, eventhough I'm almost certain it won't be exactly a lonewolf friendly, just like past DLCs, but you gotta be creative and resort to some unconventional methods, that tbh aren't cheating, but I don't know how the community views them. It'd be nice if R* payed a bit more attention this time around to lonewolf grinding, even if we needed to pay it with our "hard earned GTA dollars", as a privilege to distance from all those unfriendly players, but I guess R* wants us to be "social" and all. At least, I really hope game engine will allow us to see some awesome military gear and equipment.

They would be made available for purchase from all players and made free for those who already have the RPB.

Apart from the High Life DLC in May 2014, we've never received DLC in April and/or May.

Bunkers. Lots of speculation about proposed locations. I'm expecting many of the more expensive bunkers to be underground with perhaps not so much going on above ground regarding a facility to access them for the sake of hiding out. Although, like all things in this game, there are cheap and pricey facilities. Maybe we'll also be able to purchase the aircraft carrier? Probably not.

 

Price? Well, MCs cost $250-500K and offices cost $1-4M. I think we can expect these military bunkers to cost $5-10M at the most, but maybe they'll be cheaper like the MCs. With three months notice to save, everything should be expensive.

 

 

I am torn on the aircraft carrier (probably my most wanted item). The design is already in the game and RS would make a shark card killing on this. Price it $20 million and you know people will pay it.

 

I wonder logistically how difficult it is to implement. My idea is that you put it as far out in the water as you can and allow pegasus vehicles to spawn on it. The time it takes you to fly in would be part of the balance so that one couldn't just get one Hydra after another (this would take as much time as calling Pegasus in the city and driving to get it). But are we getting to a point now where adding things like this threatens the stability of GTA online? Is there a problem with putting it at the edge of the map? Like the Yachts, how many can the game support in each session?

 

I really want this and see reasons why it might happen, but my gut tells me it isn't coming.

It will be a real drag if they release the RPB one item at a time, it will be a down right drought for those of us who already own all that stuff. Glad you guy's are getting it and all, but it's a lame move to drag it out over months. Making 4 more classics can't be that difficult and time consuming..

they set the formula of public lobby only with the ceo crates, disencourage lonewolf grinding with bikers businesses and added op npc enemies/cars catching on fire/cargobob unhooks with the imports business.

 

so its very clear they would never allow us to do this in invite only sessions, if anything lets wait and see what they come up with to further discourage solo-public sessions with the gunrunning update.

i see bunkers ranging from 2-6, with some upgrades that can bump the price by 1.5million.

I don't think you are saying this, but they aren't delaying release of the DLC so they can drip feed items to us over several weeks--it is the other way around. The DLC is almost certainly not finished and beta-testing, and they are just tying to give the gamers stuff until it is. This is no win for RS--if they gave it all to you now then nothing for weeks, people become restless. Give it a little at a time, people complain about drip feeding. Now, I am returning player also and understand that none of this is exciting to me, but understand that not everything will be designed for the long time player (truth is, because of cost, the big DLC's are for us as the newbie is priced out). I am hopeful from the language of the newswire post that there are more classics coming than what has presently been released and we will get those until the DLC is finished.

that's too much money. bunkers should cost atleast 2 million beginning then raise them up cause the ceo maze bank (4 million) is the biggest building in the game. i also think we're getting an arms dealer base addition when buying it sorta like when we buy garages for ceo hq's.

they haven't even hinted in the first place. i don't understand how people get hyped for something that's based on pure speculation. it's tuners and outlaws all over again.

Tuners and outlaws is a fan-made trailer - no more; no less.

 

The Hunter speculation originates from all those files for the Hunter that are still within the game (unlike tuners and outlaws). There are files, and we have seen Rockstar has a model for it.

 

Even assuming it was simply cut - a lot of cut content comes back.

 

So, just don't fight it. You won't win - ever. The more you push against the Hunter; the more the Hunter is brought up, and you're never going to stop people speculating about it and longing for it. Accept the Hunter, and embrace it. There is no other way.

 

We have out best opportunity yet, and a pair of spicy forum members isn't going to stop that.

To be fair i do see them pull of an other double money/rp event while releasing those RPB vehicles, one each week.

 

Call me insane, but i almost can see how they would release 5 Kraken submarine stunt races at x2 $&RP while also giving all players the capability to buy one at the start of it.

They won't drip-feed the RPB vehicles.

It's only one tunable variable and they are available to everyone, while the Duke Of Death use separated variable so it's the only vehicle they can drip-feed.

Same. Apart from the DoD I'm treading water waiting for gunrunning. I'm not bored of I/E, just steadily grinding away so I can get all the lone wolf friendly content on day one without going broke.

 

With the increasingly poor discounts and what looks like a lack of interim content that interests me should be easy.
