To be honest i call this an improvement over doing nothing about major glitching at all..or having a month or 3 wait...like usual.

So I'm thinking there's a good chance gunrunning can implement parachuting (sorely underutilized but fun IMO) for either missions or the actual running of guns.

 

Would make sense with the potential new aircraft. Maybe paraglide suits?? (I know, long shot wishing but definitely doable with the current game setup).

if would make sense... last time they had parachuting as part of a mission was during the humane labs finale.

I jumped online this morning before heading to work and my GTA updated. I think it was about 100M maybe? Scoured the game but couldn't find anything new.

 

Could this be in preparation for tomorrow? Anyone want to speculate on what it could be?

the update was around 700Mb big ... I highly doubt it was to fix steering issues only ... plus GTAO is now version 1.39 ....

I'm just finding it funny how there's only one line there saying that they fixed the steering issue and that's about it while they actually fixed a bunch of glitches (duping and director glitch)

 

I'm also LMAO at the fact that there's already a workaround for that glitch as far as i saw

 

what i'm wondering about is whether they added the missing in-game text to that adversary mode fun was talking about few days ago.

im sure they patch clothing glitches to prevent other glitches, like i dont know... full invisible outfits that plagued online til a few months ago.

That's a common issue that doesn't just affect GTA Online, so it is suspected to be an issue with Xbox Live/Steam/PSN. Certain clients are forced to download entire file groups instead of just the specific update files.

 

Since it happens to many games across all services, my guess is that it's due to brief connection errors during authentication - when the system scans your game files prior to downloading the update, if there's any sort of interruption it could conclude that your game has corrupted or missing data and therefore chooses to download and overwrite that data along with the update files.

 

Just my theory anyhow.

They fixed some duping glitches and a director to online glitch too.

No, that's the only thing the client update fixed.

They fixed the glitches with the new Background script.

There's code in the new Background script that terminate the director mode script.

I know the last few leaks were fake, but it would still be really cool if we got thermal scope or goggles with Gun Running. It's probably the last good excuse to add something like that, and if RDR2 puts an end to GTAO content, it would definitely be the last opportunity for something so niche as thermal vision.

First update that only has bug fixes since oldgen. Only fixes the issue with the infernus classic while leaving the hood not opening issue, faction still broken, and many other bugs that have been around a long time. GG rockstar. Oh no they "fixed" vehicle duplication again again. Gonna slow them down but it won't last again as normal. I will laugh if they bring the character swap glitch back with the gunrunning dlc.

That's the general consensus, although I have no idea why. I'll be glad if it does come this Tuesday, but I think people who think it's written in stone are forgetting that this isn't the first time Rockstar has tinkered with content in one update only for those changes to be officially revealed at a much later date.

 

The ONLY reason people think it's coming this Tuesday is because Rockstar changed the store description of the DoD and took it off the blacklist with the Special Vehicle Circuit update - but that doesn't automatically guarantee that it's meant to be released as PART of the Special Vehicle Circuit fleet of vehicles.

 

When you look at the newswire post, they tease the DoD as part of content coming up AFTER Special Vehicle Circuit.. which I guess next Tuesday technically could be considered "after", but nobody really KNOWS.
