Just picked up a Ruston,and it's a nice little ride. It's definitely grown on me since I first saw it.

 

At least we've now got the best two out of the three coming in the next couple of weeks.

And we aren't really complaining about the vehicle itself, but that Rockstar could just release it along with the Ruston.

"the drip feed doesn't work" WAT? Hahaha dude... you think R* gives 2 f*ck how long you play? They want yo to spend cash - and you just did that! It works even better for them if you only login to spend $ and don't earn anything in return by playing the game. Statistically that means more sharkcards sold.

 

That's how dripfeed works - if they unlocked 15 or 20 at one day, most people wouldn't buy even half of them

but give 1 every couple weeks and everyone will buy it "just to check the new stuff"

Oh boy. I said rag dolls use a different engine than objects. Rag dolls use Natural Motion Euphoria, objects use Rockstar's RAGE engine. i really didn't expect that to be so hard to understand or maybe I'd have spelled it out the first time around.

 

Also, yes, V had more complex physics. You're talking about animations such as grabbing bullet wounds as a physics simulation- that's merely an animation, you seem to lack understanding of the differences between dynamic animation and PHYSICS. Also, you said GTA V can do all the things like the drunk staggering and the NPC's hanging onto cars as you drive away - yes, you're right, I've seen it - so why did you say GTA V removed those things, and then say they can still happen? They eliminated the code for those things but they still happen? You're confusing me and probably yourself, too.

 

Semi truck trailers. Tow trucks. Air planes. Hydraulics. Rocket cars. Wind turbines. Mud. Snow. Turbulence. Cargobob. Parachuting. The list goes on.

 

And I have a very hard time believing that IV has more physics objets than V. It MAY have a slightly larger variety when it comes to static props, but it absolutely has LESS of them overall, as well as less overall variety.

 

So, Mr. Programmer, you read all the "matrix code" you want, doesn't mean you really understand what you're reading, beyond earmarks placed by other, more knowledgeable people. Sorry, you're not fooling anyone.

Who's complaining? I haven't seen anyone complaining about getting a free armored car, the only explanation to your claim is that you made it up just to bitch about an imaginary group of people.

 

How hilariously sad. Besides, it's only free for returning players, non-returning players gotta fork over $660K.

any complaints i have isnt simply because they didn't release what i wanted

 

it's because they keep making batches of cars, knowing by now they'll get leaked, and releasing them one at a time over a course of however many weeks equates to how many cars are in said batch.

 

then when a certain car is released, some people who were waiting for it probably won't even be excited for it, or any of the other new cars anymore.

 

 

 

 

other than that, this car is alright. it's something different at least.

Well, I got the Ruston. It cost me a little over $800k all together.

 

It's ugly as sin, and with the quick test drive, I'm not too sure I like it. But, I was expecting that anyways. I'll have to try more tomorrow. I'm still just waiting for the Infernus and Turismo.

Look for even more updates coming to GTA Online in the weeks ahead, including additions to the Creator like new Stunt Race props and the ability to concoct your own Special Vehicle Races for the Rocket Voltic, Ruiner 2000, and Blazer Aqua. Plus crazy new modes like Resurrection and Top Down, as well as a collection of oft-requested classic GTA rides - including one particularly morbid muscle car.

sooo on this Thursday:

- (hopefully) new props and SV in creator

- new discounts

- new "Resurrection"adv. mode

- (hopefully) one of two classic cars

 

 

and for the next weeks:

- classic cars

- retro adv. mode "Top Down" (just like gta1/gta2)

- DoD and all the other stuff for returning players
