I swear sometimes i wonder if that gif (your avatar) gets faster everyday

Well, if it's free, I guess I'll have to get one.

I've never even drove one before. And I really hope it's a PV

It is. On story mode, if you did the Random Event, it spawns on 2 locations on the map and gets listed on Warstock for $250,000. The prices of course change because if you can get a $250,000 bulletproof car, whats the point with buying the Kuruma?

Nintendo? Didn't even know the original GTA was on a Nintendo console.

*googles*

It was never on a Nintendo console. You might mean Sega Dreamcast?

Yeah ur right. Actually it was PlayStation1. Its been a while lol

I definitely remember the DoD owning Insurgents when I had one.

I suppose we will see plenty of comparisons when it comes out though to prove either way.

A high speed game of Chicken (without swerving) would be the Best way to find out what's what.

Exactly. Another reason not to own a Kuruma.

Barely use my own anymore but I wouldn't say there's no point when it's practically mobile cover. I don't really think the DoD is that protective for the people inside and it's limited range to shoot out of. Been awhile since I drove it though..

Oh for f*ck- I KNOW the games use they same engine, I never said they didn't. Now you're just pulling things out of thin air.

BTW, that wasn't ad hominem ya goof. Perhaps do some reading?

Also also, I get that you think you're a haxx0r and all that, but it doesn't take a genius to understand game code. I've been modding my own games since 1.6 bro, and you don't see me on here trying to beat my chest and ensure that everyone knows that I've "poked around under the hood" of almost every PC game I've ever had.

Face it - you didn't comprehend what I was saying. Maybe I tried to water it down too much, but you DID just admit you now understand what I meant by "sliders" (and then conveniently cast aside the whole subject), so maybe you can also admit that you went on the attack before you really understood what and who you were attacking?

GTA V has more complex physics than GTA IV. I didn't say a different physics engine, I didn't say more realistic, I said more complex.

Maybe you should poke under the hood of a dictionary for a bit, fully understand the meaning of that word, then sit there and ponder my meaning for a while. Really look at GTA V, all of the additions to the game, and consider what ways the word "complex" might apply.

You might surprise even yourself.

You said the games use two different physics engines - both games use the same engine for both NPC ragdolls and objects.

ef7ggbL.png

You used sliders as a silly explanation for modifying numeric integers in the .#MT / .META files that control the use of euphoria, including physics tasks and weight values. It was unnecessary because it doesn't applying any distinct information about the values that are being changed, or how they're changed. You simply used that word to make your claim sound more sophisticated to those with less knowledge on games and their inner workings.

GTA V does not have more complex physics than GTA IV. When we examine the usage of Euphoria, we can see that GTA IV had physics tasks like grabbing wounds / impact spots, stumbling when the legs are knocked into or drunk mode is active, NPCs latching onto objects such as cars and holding on while being dragged. GTA V can do these things, but the tasks are strangely missing from the meta files controlling the physics. We have mods to remedy this, we know how this sh*t works.

And if we're using object physics, IV once again has more usage of such things. More dynamic props, such as news paper bins, street signs, benches, most interiors have destructible corners, the usual. Main thing that V has is the destructible glass.

You telling me to refer to a dictionary, instead of actually telling me why I'm wrong, it your clear use of an ad hominem. You're calling me stupid, which really doesn't make much sense when you're arguing a point that doesn't make any sense. You're only here to argue, not to actually accept facts - let alone state any.

People like you are simply the worst. You try to look high and mighty around people who know less about a subject (just below you, for that matter) - and when someone who actually knows what they're talking about comes along and shoots down your claim you get butthurt. If someone actually comes along and denies your claim, and you know you're wrong, be an adult and accept the truth.

You're both wrong SMH. Its the multi stage flux capacitor. And the variable speed timing differential diode that controls ragdoll telemetric imagery, not the post nuclear quantified irony inhibitor. You guys are also forgetting the cross shaded dropbox of liquid color stabilization. Furthermore when the parachute is acted upon by outside delivered neuron pantheogenic multi testers, the collective pixels perform 10 terraflops of continued amplification. Doesnt that sound way better?

CarimboHanky

Hunter will be probably the improvement of Savage.

I can see it with Valkyries turret, Savage missile pods, durability of a Cargobob and a price tag of Luxor Deluxe.

Whop whop whop.

add flares and ill take 5 of those!!!

9e9.gif

The same apply to the Duke of Death, the price is 665k for new players but free if you own the Bonus since the reduced price is set to 0 however R* can change it and force you to pay for the vehicle even if you own the Bonus.

it would make sense to give the car for free, just like the racecars from sp are free for those of us with rpb.

Edit: A tiny bit worrysome that it is on Warstock.

its the R* logic man... the dubsta 6 is there too and its a pv,so dont worry that baby is coming home!

It doesn't say its a Pegasus Vehicle, so you are in the clear ✌🏻😉

Although I'm not a big fan of the DoD or muscle cars in general. As its free, I may just get it to have it

Wait a doggone minute (RIP Bernie Mac) ... Only the DoD is free? Or the entire returning players bonuses? (Dodo, Karkan, Marshall)

Well you have to pay for returning Pegasus vehicles in Online, so I'd assume that vehicles that can be used as PV's are the only ones that'll be free for returning players.

Edit: I assume that any vehicle from the RPB added to Online since Cunning Stunts, that can be stored as a PV, will be free. The Pegasus vehicles available Online cost, and the already available Dukes and Stallion cost, and I don't see that changing if (when) the RPB is made available to all.

The DOD is free? Welp, guess I'm dusting off my Mad Max outfit. Got the car, got the clothes, got the shotgun. Now all I need's a dog companion.

MAKE IT HAPPEN, R*

So the DoD is free for RP uh ? Not my kind of car, but i suppose i'll get one after all. Its free so might as well take advantage of it for taking pics and what not.

I'm leaning towards that same assumption as well.

So the DoD is free for returning players? How much for people who didn't transfer? I don't follow Foxy so sorry if this had been asked already.

- the order on the website indicates ruston comes first, but thats not definitive.

- event week ends thurs. Doesnt mean we cannot get something new today however, just indicates against it.
