Let me rephrase.

 

There's a physics model for the parachute pack. Why is there a physics model for the parachute pack? That's certainly not the act of someone who allegedly doesn't care about physics.

 

Also, GTA IV physics more complex? Nope. Sorry. You want to blast someone about "basics", practice what you preach- the difference between V and IV equates to a slider adjustment. Rag dolls have been significantly improved (and yes I'm aware they use a different engine than object physics), but car mass has been reduced. There are also more physics objects in the world at once. The physics became more, not less, complex. Just because you don't like the "slider settings" doesn't mean the inner workings are any less intense.

There is no "physics" model for the parachute pack. You have cosmetic model, which may also include LODs, and the collision model, which is necessary for it to be a solid object. Something that's been around since the early days of 3D gaming. Hell, GTA III had this extremely basic function, it's called simulated gravity.

 

GTA IV and GTA V use the same ragdoll physics engine - Euphoria. The main difference between IV and V is the utilization of it. GTA V has toned down physics, and we know this because people are able to poke around with the data files that control them. We have mods that easily restore most functions from IV, like grabbing wounds and staggering, which were strangely omitted from GTA V. There is no slider, just numeric values in an xml-like data file. You can even see a dramatic difference in the use of physics between the games, especially considering how V is must more grounded while IV is floaty. Hell, IV has considerably more destructible props than V.

 

The inner workings between the two games are quite different, so I'm not exactly sure where you're getting your facts from. It's really tiring to see people who have no idea how this stuff works just come up with crazy statements and claims, suggesting that their imagination is fact. You can argue this all you want, but I know what I'm talking about - I speak from fact, you speak on opinion. Stop lying.

Even the so called flying tank will generally be quite f*cked up after a hit by a stinger missile though.

They're not going to want to get hit by one no, though they have survived a fair bit before.

 

 

 

Besides, the real thing has various countermeasures, long range weapons, etc. - so it's a lot less likely to get hit by one in the first place.

 

Well to be honest i rather see the hunter having a turret like the valkerie tbh...again though...realisticly speaking you need 2 ppl to pilot it.

I'd like the Vakyrie gun myself. Having it require 2 people would be lame though. After all this waiting, I should get to actually get some use out of it.

 

I think one person could technically pilot an Apache, though he'd be a pretty overwhelmed guy lol.

 

But that's the real thing. It's very different, way more things the pilot can do and has to keep an eye on. So that being better with 2 people isn't really something that would force it to need 2 in the game.

 

I mean, realistically speaking, it'd have Hellfire's reaching 8km. That would be way too overpowered for the game. Realism isn't everything. It should resemble the real thing, but if you're strictly cloning everything about it, things would get awkward.

 

Hunter will be probably the improvement of Savage.

I can see it with Valkyries turret, Savage missile pods, durability of a Cargobob and a price tag of Luxor Deluxe.

Well in Buzzard the second person can take over rockets right?. Maybe in Hunter the other pilot could be in charge of the turrets (or turret+rockets)? So having a friend would gives you an advantage Edited by Piro

Indeed, you can go to far into the realm of realism, then again, if we would get some single person attack heli, i rather have it to be something else.

On top of that, this is still a multiplayer game.

 

Also i dont know if i am really for the hunter being an improved savage...

I mean, having a helicopter that does not suck in a freeroam setting besides the buzzard would be nice, but in such a case we have yet again one vehicle that is just a waste of data at that point.

Didn't say there WERE sliders, said it's a similar concept. What do you think a slider does? Changes values. That's how rockstar tweaked the physics - changing the values. You COULD use a slider to change the values, but alas that is not the way they did it.

LTS would be awsome if rockstar actually implemented good matchmaking into this game

I can confirm they can enable the Returning Player Bonus vehicles to new players but disabled for now.

RPB vehicles have reduced prices like Heists & SecuroServ vehicles but they are set to 0 so free for the Bonus owners.

The same apply to the Duke of Death, the price is 665k for new players but free if you own the Bonus since the reduced price is set to 0 however R* can change it and force you to pay for the vehicle even if you own the Bonus.

Meh, all i care for currently is the gunrunning sh*t TBH.

 

grotti turismo classic will destroy the sport classic class, but to be honest, i have not raced regular races in ages anyhow by now because rockstar nerfed betting and they still have not fixed the issue with stunt races mixing in with regular races at the lobby menu, let alone they buffed the payouts in general because their matchmaking sucks so hard....

 

Until then i will be grinding their double RP events on things that are not adversary modes because most of those suck balls and i will just be destroying crates in freeroam with my hydra and doing executive search and sightseer....latter one with hydra....and hunt bounty's....with hydra....and do arial challenges.....with hydra....and do ground vehicle challenges.....with bati....and do PvP events....generally starting of with hydra...

 

For those complaining about that playstyle....i mean, really,...i can not help it they do not fix and balance their sh*t out and i find the other ways left to make money far from entertaining enough, far from profitable enough or worse, suffer also under their bad matchmaking.

 

I would love to do some proper last team standing that is not rockets vs insurgents or some boring crap like that, but the matchmaking is to bad for it to be worth the efford without a serious payout buff and i would love to move some cargo myself to and such, but then again sitting in a friendly session doing it is way to boring and to do it in a full session like they are intended to be done is so stupid because things simply are so badly balanced it is pretty much some kind of financial suicide), thus i just can not be bothered with it, so that is why i found my current play style be the best of the moment, but hey, i am getting better with the hydra as a counter on my degenerating racing skills so....

The ironic part is the price of the stirling gt costs slighly more than the turismo classic and infernus classic.

The ironic part is the price of the stirling gt costs slighly more than the turismo classic and infernus classic.

The price you pay to have a 100x cooler car.

We have enough f'n fast cars in this game. Newsflash, no one but you cares that you're driving a supercar. It's not unique, you're not special for owning it and there are 5-10 other cars that go just as fast or close enough to it to not matter.

 

Let's see some more stuff for the air.......for the water. Make that big ass ocean mean something. Hell where's the JET PACK for that matter :)
