Steam has downloaded the new DLC, but when I join GTA Online I get the message: 'You are attempting acces GTA Online Servers with an altered version of the game.' How can i fix this?

Look for files that doesn't belong in the game directory. Including text files.

Always wanted the Duke'O'Death in the online mode, it was a slap on the face when you get to transport it on a "WastrLander" with Import/Export xD

remove every residual file left after SPmods in ur gta v folder.

 

if you not rly know what to remove:

 

- for sure remove scripthook and "dinput8.dll" if you have it

- look for asiloader.log file and open it (it might help you locate scripts/plugins you need to remove)

 

example:

ASI: Loading "e:\games\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mpbiker.asi"

"mpbiker.asi" failed to load

LOADER: Finished loading *.asi plugins

 

so in that case you have to remove:

- mpbiker.asi (or whatever is on ur list of plugins)

 

at the end remove asiloader.log fire (just to be sure)

 

 

if that doesn't help - there's a custom launcher mod that removes all mod related files to a different folder every time you go online

 

and if that doesn't help - you can always reinstall gta

Well...Read Dead Redemption 2 is supposed to release in autumn.

 

What does RDR2 have to do with GTA Online? I would be very disappointed if they stopped updating GTA only because of this game.

I think it's not a coincidence that we see a Swift in the trailer. No Swifts appear in NPC traffic. It is also old content, so why would Rockstar show it in trailer?

 

I think this Swift is special. Judging that some recent content is based on popular TV series I speculate it might be a armed Swift, homage on Airwolf.

I'd be pissed if it would take place of Hunter though.

 

Also, what is that for SUV driving behind the new cars?

The Swift appeared in Freemode Events trailer as well, but it didn't have anything to do with the actual update. it's just for the scene

Why is everyone so excited about the possibility of buying the Duke O Death? It's not that great anymore.

 

When current gen first released it was awesome - it was the only armored car that could ram traffic out of the way with relative ease.

 

Since then, we've gotten the Armored Kuruma (which doesn't have QUITE the ramming power of the DoD, but it's up there), the Insurgent (which is FAR better at ramming), Wedge Truck (which of course doesn't last long), Armored Boxville, and a number of other vehicles that do everything the DoD can do, but better.

Because it's a nice yummy blend of the Insurgent, Kuruma O' Death, and those Armored Cars all into one convenient package and by package I mean car. It pushes other cars out of the way easily (insurgent). It can take a rocket and survive (the Armored Cars). And it's bulletproof with a few weak spots, primarily the windows on the sides (Kuruma O' Death)

 

 

Note: I like calling the Kuruma the Kuruma O' Death to not confuse it with the Armored Cars (Schafter V12, Baller, XLS and Cog-however you spell it)

i'm not saying it will happen but its possible we get a nightlife/club management update. we've been getting updates based on themes from past gta and I think these updates are cut content from the singleplayer dlc that was shelved. so if we've already had lowriders , yachts, offices, warehouses mbike clubsm car import and export, a night life dlc based on tbogt is doable. it would work like this. your role as club owner would work like ceo as in you are being the manager would be able to hire a staff of about 6 other players with positions like manager ,bouncer , security staff, dj,(possibly) drug dealer(possibly) dispatch(possibly) there will be many clubs across san andreas to own with interiors like te qui la la, Bahama mamas, the hymen, split sides, the hen house, hornbills etc.

like the ceo your success depends on a ratings/percentage system and your goal is to run the hottest most popular club in san andreas / los santos. you will be able to run missions like booking and escorting celebrity clientele to your club safely. shipping supplies like alchohol to your club, defending your club from rival who sabotage etc. fighting and throwing out rowdy club patrons who disrupt other club goers and of course there will be new clothes tattoos vehicles and weapons and maybe an adversary mode also. to deal drugs your crew will either have to buy them from one of the biker crews in the lobby or maybe get a shipment from the ceos and when acquired the drugs can be sold and distributed to club patrons during club hours for a profit. I got this idea while playing tbogt last night.

theres so much potential for this. I was riding a motorcycle up and down vinewood blvd and there are so many bars and lounges. also there are unused hotel buildings that would make a great location for a hotel lounge like the one that can be used in the story mode friend hangout that's located where barry's grass roots missions are for mike and trevor also theres another hotel lounge that is used as a friend hangout in single player up in paleto bay. the hunting lounge would make a good club location. there are shopping plazas all over los santos that have bldgs. for lease that would make a great place for a hole in the wall lounge. theres a tavern in mirror park. last but of course theres also the gay clubs like pitchers cock a toos and the penal colony.(gays play this game too).

I should have stated last time that every club will be used except for te, qui la- las since thres already a free roam mission that takes place there. they could use some abandoned gutted out buildings for warehouse sized clubs. since I didn't discuss customization details last time here goes. just like the office or a biker club house you can buy decorations (ranging from rustic to modern furniture bar stools etc), bartenters , jukeboxes karaoke machines, mechanical bulls, disco strobe lights dance floors etc all depending on the size of your club or tavern. i'm just stating the potential I see in this game. rockstar could really make this game a living breathing world.

As you see there is also December on the list. Could be related to a Christmas Update, but it also could be another one. We don't know.

Probably Rockstar will launch a new adversary mode pretty similar to Power Play but with special vehicles

 

 

The icons are the same. Only 3 are new: Ruiner, Ramp Buggy and Machine Gun

It's an armored car that also looks really badass. I personally don't care if there are better vehicles.

I could place a little bet for nightlife update. Why? Because it would create yet another (multi-)million dollar business to buy. With roughly similar missions as we already have in CEO, MC and car import/export. Hurray. Don't get me wrong, I do like those roles (in a decent lobby), but do I yearn for more of that?

I'd be up for contact missions or something along those lines. Good old fashioned GTA stuff, but with friends, you know. I don't fancy Mario kart, Tron or top gun, but I have played extensively pretty much every GTA title since the first one. And now I am waiting for the next one since this is slipping. Rockstar makes probably the most polished games with anal attention to detail, and I am slightly sad about their attention to online.
