Most people are guessing 7th of March, as it is quite possible that disabling character transfers will require a client update - and it'd be convenient to package it alongside a content update of some sort and.. Ghost Recon wild lands comes out that day...

This one again... Nope. R* doesn't care about other games. It's R*. It didn't care about CoD, Sleeping dogs, Watch dogs, Witcher, or any other game/dlc from the "competition". Not to mention that Ghost Recon is a compliantly different kind of game... trowing it in the same bag as gta just because it's a "open world" is stupid. Every game now days is a open world...

 

stuff like this happens all the time - it doesn't matter if something is weeks before/after gta dlc - people will always say "Oh I bet they added this today to steal back players cuz u know... CoD has a new gun texture dlc"

 

People said stuff like that literally about every game/dlc that came out in the last 4 years and it was never true.

not to go offtopic but you can install custom launcher so u can choose SP with mods or Vanilla for online (it simply moves all ur mods to a different folder). Way easier then uninstalling everything each time you want to go online
