Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

I'd personally like a proper racing DLC, not cunning stunts stuff I mean put the race cars in their own class where they belong, give us some more and make some proper racing circuits - it is pretty surprising that no racing circuit was included (apart from the horse racing track xD) in Los Santos when they designed it given how much racing has become a core part of the game.

They have updated qabeta.

Depot 271594 has been updated which means it's a new update.

Don't get yourself hyped, they did it two weeks or one week ago and rolled it back and surprise surprise it's just a Launcher update.

However this one makes sense, usually this means the update should be released within two weeks.

They have to update the game in order to stop "Character Transfer".

Indeed. I am imagining them designing a course that utilizes all its capabilities. The jump and parachute would make things interesting.

I doubt updates will ever stop until there's a functioning gtaVI based online, and even then it'll stay operational for a while without further dlc. RDR2 is a separate game which R* apparently believes will not compete with gtao, and for what it's worth I tend to agree. GTAO is more profitable today than it ever has been, and as long as that's the case there'll be more dlc.

I think the Special Vehicles races sound interesting, they are just like a normal GTA Race. I will be playing them and I'm guessing so will others. However, I don't like the idea of just having Special Vehicle Races be a standalone update.

Im basing this off this very thread. Went from "there is nothing known" to "crack this code" to "code is gone" to "Quebata was updated, possible special vehicles in creation modes" to you sitting here playing aloof to it all... so, what is your theory, BenDeR? Got some info that isnt printed on this page we should know about?

You are literally speaking to one of the sources of the information.Yeah, i know. But he's holding out acting like we're dumb for speculating on the only info we have..which comes from him. Its beyond obnoxious.

 

 

No. It's not like anyone owes you anything. Leakers just say what they can and/or have the right to say. I know it sounds stupid but it's the way it is and it's why it sometimes appears vague or obnoxious as you say. But it would be beyond idiotic to come and claim we got information solely based on speculation.

 

And honestly, I, like many other people, don't like the idea of Special Vehicle Races. For me, it's a waste. There is so much more potential in this game. At least, if they include them in the Creator, some people might create some fun stuff. But I would rather have some new vehicles and weapons than useless races.

Has anyone heard about Rockstar possibly putting Liberty City on the map in gta 5. They were thinking about putting in the ocean across the way from Los Santos. Do you think they'll actualy do it, this is an image of it ive also put som of the article underneath.

 

 

A new Grand Theft Auto 5 [official site] mod will add the whole flipping city from GTA 4, the developers of GTA modding tool OpenIV have announced. Liberty City will be added to GTA 5’s world, rather than replacing it, appearing just across the sea. Crumbs! Given Rockstar are seemingly more interested in expanding 5’s multiplayer than its singleplayer, it’ll certainly be nice to have a huge new world to play in with GTA V’s toys.

I know what you’re thinking: “Alice, this’ll never happen. Remaking Liberty City inside GTA V is such a huge task that it’ll either never get finished or be up super-janky.” But wait! Rather than make the world over, they’re working on a clever tool to import the data from GTA IV. It’ll be a small download then chug away magically converting Liberty City and dunking it off the shore of San Andreas. That (hopefully?) dodges legal problems too.

I know it's far too late now, but a bunch of mini-series of missions based storylines would have been nice. Think heists but not restriced to heists, so a couple of missions to set up and tell a story about w/e with a massive action sequence style finale for each series. Could have been cool.

i'd welcome something like that, i really thought they would build up into that, releasing more missions with actual stories attached to them, but that was not the case.

last night on the support site this guy was bitching because his account got reset upon transfer,he even posted a screenshot of his ps3 stats while demanding his issue to be solved...

 

his stats were level 250, 604millions & a whooping 9hours of gameplay hahaha
