R* actually had a whole new Valentine's update ready but they scrapped it just for the sake of telling the players "f*ck you"

Ok so i said this and i'll say it again:

GUYS! GUYS! GUYS! I GOT NEW LEGIT INFORMATION FOR VALENTINE'S DAY! ROCKSTAR IS NOT RELEASING ANYTHING FOR IT! 100% CONFIRMED LEGIT INFO!!!

 

 

You see? I told you. They wouldn't release a holiday update on the exact day of the holiday. They didn't do that with literally every other holiday update. Not even the first Valentine update as that was released BEFORE the actual day

If I had to speculate, I would guess R* is preparing for something big in March to close out the first quarter.

 

Maybe with character transfers being over after March 6th, we may see something that will make people wish they would have transferred. And as I mentioned a while back, March is usually the time of a decent update being rolled out.

They can't remove character transfer with tunables, they need to update the game. Well they kinda can, but the option in the menu would've stayed there and that could cause confusion. So we are getting update either before 6 March or few days after.

They've forced an update just to stop people from using a glitch, so it doesn't necessarily mean they'll roll out a big update on March 7th, but it is plausible. I don't know what they can or cannot do as far as how they will remove transfers, so I can't argue with you on that, but I guess we will see. I do hope we see an update March 7th. Leaving last gen behind once and for all AND new content all in the same day? Sign me up.

Only difference is people had a big reason to be disappointed in 2015, because if they hadn't gotten the content in 2014, they were sh*t out of luck. They enabled all the content for everyone during 2016, so we're not losing anything at all this year. We can only hope that this year repeats one thing from 2015, a huge update in March.

Sorry fun, but i dont buy the "no more big updates" claim. T2 will squeeze them out of R* if need be. Since R* has put minimal effort into the big updates besides Heists and E&OC, it shouldn't be a problem for them to half ass things even further lol.

 

By big updates i mean 10+ vehicles, plenty of clothing and a weapon or two. Bikers and I/E are quick rehashes of crate missions, so i include them in the minimal effort category despite the inclusion of high demand cars ect. It's still the same FR formula of steal item, warehouse and accumulate items, risk selling items.

 

So yeah, we may not get any more innovative DLCs, but we sure as hell will continue to get decent packs of cars so T2 can keep on movin them tgere kersh kerds
