Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

fwiw software updates don't have to come with DLC, even if one is needed for the transfer thingy. They can just bump to 1.38 without any additional content.

 

Which is to say, nobody knows sh*t.

they can always disable the feature on their side of the server without the need of updating to 1.38

Oh I agree the 7th is a good date to pick for that reason, but some people are taking it as given based on faulty assumptions (and then will cry all over this thread if it doesn't happen).

There won't be any more updates without actual content. After Heists all minor patches/fixes have been done via tunables or came with a new DLC. And since Lowriders they used to bundle DLCs whenever they could. Has either something to do with Microsoft and Sony or it makes their "QA" easier.

Yes, but as I said, then there will be an ugly error message and the option is technically still available in the menu. Won't happen. This is how to temporarly shut it down, but not an elegant way to do an announced permanent shutdown.

Yes u can have a bit of a joke but no dissin coz in the end we are all GTA fans and if u aren't a fan of GTA, why u even a member of this website. Yes, but as I said, then there will be an ugly error message and the option is technically still available in the menu. Won't happen. This is how to temporarly shut it down, but not an elegant way to do an announced permanent shutdown.this is R* they are not elegant hahaha

A recycled event will always be better than recycled items advertised as "new" items, aka reskinned suits and underwear and a fancier Roosevelt.

 

That precious dev time is better spent on a proper update rather than a yet another Valentine update.

stop hoping for dlc. GTA IS DEAD NOW. RDR2 is coming and rockstar will focus on that. move on and play other games.

Are you mad, it's already confirmed that DLCs are still going to be released but are going to be a bit smaller, I reckon there is going to be one last big update in March and then after that they are going to be smaller. This is GTAforums next DLC speculation thread, people like u don't belong here, jog on mateI was waiting for comments like that. Just let him be mad. You dont have to explain anything to him. Everyone should just wait for the Newswire updates and quit listening to YouTubers! They are just there to generate hype, regardless of how accurate their info is.

It's only Valentine's...Halloween and Christmas are a lot easier to make meaningful content for, and if they need to release something next month I'm glad they aren't wasting time and manpower on a few lousy Valentine's items. Bring on the REAL next DLC.

Why not both? There are a lot of female items that still need to be added, and Valentine's could have served that purpose.

I was talking in general and didn't mean to quote an exact person, you were just part of the comments that I saw. anyway, I get what you are saying but others (like myself) were just a bit optimistic, it's not like Rockstar hasn't updated the game unannounced or we never had Valentines dlc before. so expecting V-Day DLC at the end of the event on the 14th wasn't too naive.
