If they brought one of those two, or both, for V-Day....mannnnnn....idk. I haven't been that excited for a car since the Nightshade. Idk what I would do.

If they give us another Roosevelt, hopefully they give us both a landaulet and coupé de ville version and with proper coach doors on the rear like the 1928 Cadillac had.

The roof on the Fränken Stange is a landaulet, a coupé de ville is the opposite (covered passenger compartment, exposed driver).

 

A landaulet was mainly used for dignitaries and other important people, so they could be seen during processions. A coupé de ville was for when the passengers wanted to be completely closed off and secluded whilst the driver and his uniform (signifying whom he was chauffeuring) could be seen.

And frankly, even while something like a Ford Fordor would make sense, I do hope that if we get anything by next week, R* doesn't just iterate on the Prohibition-era stuff yet again, because there's so much more they could do with it (for the clothes, at least - maybe use this as an excuse to have a post-1950 dress or two, eh? ).

 

Has there been any actual sign that something's coming, btw? I noticed everyone's gone from speculating if there'll be a Valentine's Day update, to acting like it's practically been announced, and it's just a matter of seeing what we'll be getting.

Problem is, if they added another one, it wouldn't be nearly as cool as that one. Not to mention, it would be one of the few cars that deserve white wall tires, but if you put lowrider rims on it, it would look stupid.

The only reason the Ford works is because it was Bonnie and Clyde's car. And they're an iconic criminal couple in America. The only other car I can think of like that was the 60s Thunderbird used in Thelma and Louise. Are there any 50s cars associated with both crime and love? Or any classic, for that matter.
