what was this value, and why was it removed after 2 hours?

 

and why is rockstar so busy removing a value, but didn´t have posted a thing in the newswire?!

The value is "TURN_ON_POINTLESS".

Because it is pointless to turn on something pointless.

Yes, it is codenamed Pointless.

This just means Martin won't send you invites to the new Adv mode.

Because it's been published to the Socialclub, so they have to remove it from there.

We just have that (if I remember correctly) a few weeks ago, I doubt they will put it again this soon.

I doubt there'll be a map expansion. They'd have to fill it with stuff to do. If not, it'll just be a place for all the griefers and shootouts. Actually, that doesn't sound so bad.

Making some basic races and DMs is the easy part pal, the construction of the map is the real undertaking. Now something already finished, like LC... would only take some polish upgrades to it's version of RAGE.

So are we just going to ignore the fact Take Two reports quarterly earnings two weeks from tomorrow? Tomorrow is also the date FoxySnaps teased with a North Yankton license plate just a couple weeks back. Now that we got the final piece of the I/E update today, I'm really anticipating what news tomorrow may bring.

 

Rockstar not only needs to keep their fanbase happy to keep buying Shark Cards, but they also need to keep shareholders interested. RDR is a great franchise but not nearly the size of GTA. GTA online surpassed Rockstar's original estimates and is a continuous cash-cow that can't just be all-out replaced with a new game. They're bold, but they're not going to shoot themselves in the foot. With RDR2 on the horizon later this year, my bet is we get part one of our long-awaited paid DLC in May-June, RDR2 in September, then finally part 2 of the GTA 5 expansion in early 2018 with a simultaneous GTA 4 remaster. This would be a great strategy to maximize profits and really "wow" players and investors alike.

 

As for the DLC itself, I could see the first expansion being San Fiero/Las Venturas -- opening the casino in Los Santos to give players a lower-capped taste of gambling while constantly in-game advertising a trip to Las Venturas to try their hand at the higher earning "High Roller" casinos. Also finally getting the already in-game advertised San Andreas State Lottery.

 

Early 2018 I'm 100% confident we're getting a GTA 4 remaster and what better way to capitalize on some re-hashed hype than by offering the final expansion for GTA online. Maybe you get a the North Yankton/LC map if you own both copies, GTA 5 & the 4 remaster. Could see Bahama Mamas West finally opening up in Del Perro to give us a taste of Liberty City nightlife, also finally being able to trade on the in-game stock market.

 

Just sitting here dreaming of going back out to Liberty City and establishing a second criminal empire base on the east coast. I need an office down in Algonquin with a view of the city!

For the first time ever we could get the holiday themed update first, then have the actual update be unlocked later on (without the need for a new download). Maybe that's why Rockstar decided to do something about people being able to read tunables until now.
