Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

I feel like I'm just treading water with GTAO currently. Hopefully R* still has one or two tricks left up it's sleeve before attention shifts towards RDR2.

I hope so too. But I think we are close to the end of GTAonline, like it or not.

There gonna continue the updates, there not gonna give up there cash cow of gta online for red dead 3. There probably gonna include microtransactions in red dead 3 like it or not

I think the most requested thing at this point that hasn't been properly implemented would be a full-fledged tuner DLC, a nightlife DLC (including the Casino's opening, better female clothing, dancing minigames etc.) and a military DLC.

Absolutely.

I'm so excited for those that I'm not sure which one to talk about first!

I really want the Casino too. It has so much potential, probably because of the "High Roller" vibe and its appeal to 'flaunt your wealth' as Rockstar would say.

If the casino ever opens I hope it has 1 or 2 purchasable penthouse suites. Full floor, ostentatious type stuff to fit with the high roller vibe.

I think the most requested thing at this point that hasn't been properly implemented would be a full-fledged tuner DLC, a nightlife DLC (including the Casino's opening, better female clothing, dancing minigames etc.) and a military DLC.

Pure speculation here. if they have "lock" the tunable so we can't access to information about next update, may they want to include something very special but they want to surprise us (and not seeing leaks ways before the content drop out.) Maybe it's for something everyone (and someone in peculiar) want for a long time? maybe the hunter will come back !!

But. regarding to I/E update, they add a 60 places garage. OK we have asked for more space for a long time. But either they add it so we stfu about the place, but my point of view is that they will have to feed this garage with news vehicles? I don't see them put it only to buy ancient vehicles. (Or, buy all the ancient vehicles we like, to have some full garage, and then, use money. And they add more and more vehicles, so we need to buy shark card to afford the new content.)

The Elegy retro was greatly appreciated, the Tempesta is beautiful and i love the Fcr-1000 but this drip feed content is the worst. Ive read others say they would rather get something small consistently rather than a large update incrementally, and perhaps those that leak future content are to blame for my "woes" but theres just something unsatisfying about knowing that content is avaliable but being withheld. Again, im not under the delusion that Rockstar owes us any content, and the reason i placed blame upon the leakers is because of the addage "out of sight out of mind". Had i not know of the Fcr or the Specter weeks ago, i couldnt possibily anticipate them, but knowing the content is out there and inaccesible for whatever reason; seamily to prolong and bolster the frequency of their updated content. At the end of the day its a non issue, its a matter of patience, they arent keeping content from us just making us wait for it. After lowriders i thought they would have left behind the drip feed, clearly not. Im hoping they dont use it as the template for any future updates though.

But how do you want to do that ?

First update: you know can buy a storage for cars

Second update: now you can steal cars and store them in there

Third update: selling these cars is finally aviable

 

Thats stupid , Rockstar releases such big update and they only work in one big DLC + some more cars after that.

 

Our only problem is that we know how big the update is once dataminers find all the hidden vehicles and that bothers us.

We should be fine with what we got !

Specter speculating, in around 2 hours I reckon. Usually updates and tunables are around the 12:00 midday mark here.

Leaks and speculation create hype. Hype is good. Rockstar have always been in control of the leaks and purposely made it easy to find out about hidden things.

 

You think they would make it as easy to see tunables etc. if they wanted them hidden? You really think that Rockstar F***ot wasn't planned?

 

The concern is, there's nothing out there. Rockstar would at least have let a hint of something out somehow if anything was coming soon. The only surprise content that I am aware of, which wasn't leaked at all, nor found, was the dropzone/banshee/sultan update.

Don't you think the JB 700 looked a LOT better in the beta? I mean, look at those curves, man! And it doesn't have forced guns on the front!

We need a JB 700 Custom... Now that we're getting the Specter from another James Bond film (also as a custom car), it would be great if they added it too... I don't care how much I gotta pay, I NEED IT WITHOUT THE GUNS!

Perhaps the reason Rockstar F*g has gone dark is because they've got something big planned. He coulda been a guerrilla by R* themselves, releasing what they wanted to be released so as to hype us up about these little updates. Meanwhile, they've been cooking something big on the back burner. Now the little stuff is out of the way, they're not going to spoil us on the big thing. Hence, he stopped with the reveals.

He even said something massive was on the horizon. I don't doubt that they have him up their sleeve, I really don't. Like I said the other day, R* are trolls.

They dont even need to completly remove them form the car, a thing like the ruiner 2000 that they show up from the bumper when you drive it would be nice but with the option to hide them everytime you want.

I've no doubts he was posting because he was told to (if it is a he, not a they). The consequences of releasing information like he did, without permission, would be pretty severe.

 

The thing is, leaks (accurate ones) have only ever really come after Rockstar announce something. I/E was announced way back with Bikers, we had info early for that but it was still after announcement. Bikers had info but only after announcement. We have no hint at whats next. Based on R*F posts, we aren't getting a cop dlc, we aren't getting tuners & outlaws. At this point, speculation is pure guess work, content is guesswork and dates can only be based on previous releases - which are inconsistent.

Do you understand that their primary goal as a business is to make money. Selling Shark Cards is how they make that money. If they didn't sell shark cards you would not have had most of the updates you are referring to.Their lust to sell Shark Cards isn't some side job, it's the entire point of the business. Making the game is just them building the tools to get people to buy the cards. The cards are the entire point now.
