Ideally, a suitable map expansion would be Ludendorff, North Yankton. It's already there. Just needs a few things done to it to make it suitable to play on and job done. Why they never allowed us to go there in the first place is beyond me. A lovely wooden cabin would be nice

No, you didn't. These are all imposters, people pretending to be R*fa**ot. The way to tell is to check the non-bold code beside the names, if they are different, they are all different people.

 

From what I remember about the real R*fa**ot, he specifically stated we will NOT be getting a "cops* anything type-DLC. He was very specific on that. As for the rest of it, I can't remember, but I'm pretty sure he didn't say anything about expansions to the map.

Going back to the ex-rockstar employee that leaked all the info 'R* Fag' Didn't this person mention paid DLCs and map expansions? Surely this will come out prior to RDR being released.

If i recall right that leak said that will only happen after all updates have been released and the updates are planned as far as spring this year....

Personally not really interested, i am done paying for this game and being on PC, meh, rockstar is sooner or later just gonna quit the war on cheats entirely and when that happens i can probably have any car i ever wanted accesible in one way or an other.

 

Unless they fix the matchmaking/buff the payout, actually fix all major bugs and balance freeroam i have given my last money to this greedy developer.....besides, even as a level 800+ i personally can not say i know this map out of my head for real, i still discover a new accesible rooftop once every few days of playtime.

Explain "greedy developer". As I didn't pay more than 60€ on steam, I don't understand how are they greedy. Activison is greedy wanting real money for content they cut before release.

 

This is all brand new and FREE. Explain greedy. You are level 800+ so you clearly know how to make money in game given the time you spend, so why would you call them greedy?

Yea, i can earn about 500 k per hour and 20 minutes, but seriously, for 2 - 4 mil you used to be able to afford all cars in one dlc, these days it won't even be enough to own single vehicles in some cases, especially if you consider upgrades.

 

On top of that, the payed dlc is really likely gonna happen, those shark card selling whores at rockstar are getting worse every year.

 

edit: never mind, payed dlc was not leaked by someone legit, still, it is fair to say they are not doing a great job of convincing me otherwise.

 

i must how ever say that the last update was decent though, it did not come with to many bugs like bikers did, and for once, after pretty much every large dlc that was not a holliday event, they finally did NOT destroy a vehicle class and they in fact fixed the super class, though....call me paranoid, lately i am wondering if some of those rockstar f*ckups are even real f*ckups to begin with

Do you understand that their primary goal as a business is to make money. Selling Shark Cards is how they make that money. If they didn't sell shark cards you would not have had most of the updates you are referring to.

 

Their lust to sell Shark Cards isn't some side job, it's the entire point of the business. Making the game is just them building the tools to get people to buy the cards. The cards are the entire point now.

I think Rockstar is greedy because they've made a lot of money from the game but none of it goes towards actually improving the game balance, performance or connection wise and instead all their earnings go straight back into adding more stuff for players to purchase with shark cards.

Honestly, what else could they do at this point? They've been adding constant additions to the CEO stuff for a while now, and it's starting to lose its touch in my opinion. Would love to see something a little different.

Fix the code, fix the gameplay, balance things better, fix the broken NPCs, retool the payouts for higher level players so missions are worth doing again. Things like that.

According to what we got with Import/Export: Scripted races, spawned nps's and stealth-missions in a public sessions I assume that yeah, we could see some assassination missions based on Frank's or the movies: Hitman or Mechanic for example.

 

P.S. some facts: There were no new weapons in Import/Export. R* promotes their Warstock vehicles with Rockstar Editor contest. Some people still want new jets and helis, including Hunter.

I guess we can see some military based dlc from R* (hijack the vehicles for Merryweather and deliver to your special hangar in Los Santos Airport, for example)

 

P.S.S. if we are talking about what people wants... Nightclubs, nightlife with drug business and classic cars? Or Lowriders3 (DUB edition Patriot, Cavalcade, Manana, Emperor, Peyote + most wished Hermes) with Bikers2 (with choppers from TLaD and some new choppers) with gang wars for the territory?

True and there is nothing saying you have to buy the overpriced offerings, up until the last six months I was ok with it but lately the prices have gone through the roof with cars and bikes that cost millions and then need to be upgraded at ammunation a flashlight will cost you 10k. many of the new modes that they have require you sink a lot of money in before getting be able to use. Biker update comes out and the prices are not too bad but you don't make much money doing it and if you want to customise your clubhouse a flag is like $100k.

I'm getting the feeling the game can't handle much more content in its current state. The servers are breaking more and more frequently, cloud saving is a mess and I/E was underwhelming to say the least.

Servers are the same. The playerbase increased with more people having more time to play over the holidays thus more people were on the same servers.

 

I/E brought as much additional vehicle-storage space as the previous 35 updates combined.

 

I've gotten more cloud saving failures in the last week, than I've had in several months, to the point that I couldn't do anything because it kept failing to save. I/E was underwhelming because of the OP NPCs, the awful cooldown, and inability to sell more than one vehicle at a time solo. All things that Crates did not have.

 

I'm over $12.5M (gross) from Exporting in less than half the time it took me to get to $13.4M (also gross) from crates. Both all-Solo work.

Except the net for those numbers from roughly the same grosses were:

$4,131,272 in I/E costs (warehouse, importing-repairs, costs of upgrading before selling)

$8,000,000 in crate costs (two warehouses, delivery-vehicle upgrades, all those crates and rare-item crates)

 

The cooldowns can be managed and profitable while still a CEO, and you can still make more money faster than with crates.

 

While the recent 50% and 25% selling bonuses were a big help, I also used the event bonuses on my crates.

 

 

The I/E vehicle selling cooldown can be bypassed easily on the PS4.

This years Christmas was the first time this happened, where the content was in game, just not unlocked.

Actually the first time we got update content in game but only unlocked with the event was Halloween 2015. All the halloween stuff was ingame as of Lowriders but hidden. After that, the Roosevelt Valor was added with the Drop Zone update, then I think the next time was the Sanctus in the Bikers update.

I forgot about the Sanctus. But the others were still their "own" update. Unlike the 2016 Christmas and the forgotten Sanctus. The Sanctus and Comet were pretty much a part of a preceding dlc, where as the others were more of their own separate releases.

 

I shouldn't have said they weren't in the game, I more meant that they weren't part of an already ongoing drip feeding. R* norm for most holidays is to give us everything a few days before/week before. And have it be its own themed thing.

 

Then again with their recent dlc releases for all we know we could get a car every other day leading up to the 14th lol.

The Elegy retro was greatly appreciated, the Tempesta is beautiful and i love the Fcr-1000 but this drip feed content is the worst. Ive read others say they would rather get something small consistently rather than a large update incrementally, and perhaps those that leak future content are to blame for my "woes" but theres just something unsatisfying about knowing that content is avaliable but being withheld. Again, im not under the delusion that Rockstar owes us any content, and the reason i placed blame upon the leakers is because of the addage "out of sight out of mind". Had i not know of the Fcr or the Specter weeks ago, i couldnt possibily anticipate them, but knowing the content is out there and inaccesible for whatever reason; seamily to prolong and bolster the frequency of their updated content. At the end of the day its a non issue, its a matter of patience, they arent keeping content from us just making us wait for it. After lowriders i thought they would have left behind the drip feed, clearly not. Im hoping they dont use it as the template for any future updates though.

I would be so happy with all the cut content. That'd be like, almost (maybe even more) map expansion level happy.

 

The obvious vehicle of course, but there's also plenty of other really cool looking things they cut back.
