So the current cash bonus ends on the 16th... Usually we get or hear something after them.. So wanted to ask, do they still update the newswire on Tuesdays?

 

Also with Valnetines in a month, the would need to release an update before then so they can do the drip feed thing (if there is an event for it)

 

Basically what I'm asking is will we possibly get some info on the next update on Tuesday?

Most times, for events for holidays, all the content is dropped same day. They haven't in the past dip fed anything for holiday dlc's. Not sure why they would start now after 3 years. But it's R* so who knows.

 

This years Christmas was the first time this happened, where the content was in game, just not unlocked. But I feel this had a lot more to do with the size and scope of the import/export update, and less to do with dip feeding anything for Chirstmas.

 

Also I get that there is candy in the stores since January 1st. But seriously people, it's a month away. Why the sh*t would R* be releasing sh*t for valentines in January ?

 

We are all aware it's two weeks into feb. right ? Like as in, they could "announce/release" something the first week of February, and still have it in the game for a full week before the day. Why's every gettin hyped a month+ before updates ? Yes sure, we're not getting any other dlc before then, so it would be the next one to talk about, but acting like they need to add it in days is ridiculous.

 

Like after valentines is everyone going to be asking where the hell is the Independence Day dlc ? We're half way into January, let's get to the last week of the month before we're getting hyped about some holiday that's only around for businesses to make money anyway.

Maybe they will finally let us buy a Stilt House in Paleto Bay. I mean, with the stilt houses in Vinewood Hills, its long curving roads, but with Paleto Bay, its a smooth straight road, with a AmmuNation, Clothes Store, Mod Shop, Barber, Tattoo Parlor, as well as a place for your Pegasus Vehicles (with the exception of fixed wing air craft, but its a lot easier to get from Paleto Bay to McKenzie Field, the nearest airfield, than it is to get to LSIA from even the closest Safehouse in LS). You also get a nice view of the open sky, not disturbed by sky scrapers.

Actually the first time we got update content in game but only unlocked with the event was Halloween 2015. All the halloween stuff was ingame as of Lowriders but hidden. After that, the Roosevelt Valor was added with the Drop Zone update, then I think the next time was the Sanctus in the Bikers update.

Yeah, the last two Valentine's updates have been rubbish. I'm really not into all that 1920's Bugsy Malone stuff, and I hated all the clothes and cars.

so i have a question about the custom mod shop, with the CEO garages, what can you do there apart from modifying cars because i heard you can exit the cars, and also can friends use it like the Custom Bike Shop?

You can get out and walk around. Sit on the couch and watch the TV. You can change the design on the floor also. You can modify all Benny's vehicles in there as well.

 

No your friends cannot use it, because your friends can't have a car in your garage.

We should have a Specter's release tomorrow. Then two or three weeks with sales, Event Weeks Snapmatic and Rockstar Editor winners/awards. Then Valentines Day 2k17. Then Event weeks till the March when we'll get a new update.

Yes, they have released some crappy ones that took no effort but atleast they bring something different to the world instead of just shooting each other with guns.

Most adversary modes are shooting guns... Its mostly PVP. And no most people do hate them. Ive played with thousands of gta players on xbox and i cant think of one thats said. Hey lets go play such and such adversary mode. Mostly just heist and free roam

They could easily implement adversary modes that don't require PvP but still need a competitive edge...
