Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

There hasn't even been a trailer yet and everyone seems to know everything that will be included with this DLC.

It has bikes........... :]

I'm sure there will be more than just bikes. Bikers, especially ones in gangs, always have a need for support vehicles like vans and trucks that can haul tools or cargo or broken down bikes. A few specialty performance cars that match the different types of crews wouldn't be unusual for the people that work with or hang with the bikers but don't actually ride themselves (like a Hermes or a rat rod for the outlaw MCs, a tuner for the crotch rocket crowd, etc.). There's a few ways that R* could justify adding 4 wheeled vehicles to a biker-themed update. They also seem to be going with drug dealing and the like for the criminal business side of things, so a small plane or boat for transporting drug shipments might be a possibility too. Frankly, I'd be very happy to see a new plane that isn't an executive/business jet or fighter jet.

I hope the Duke'O Death and Lost Slamvan are added or unlocked via tunables. Doubt the dukes will be added but the slamvan would fit the update.

Idk seems easy enough idea to me that Rockstar just releases the Lost Slamvan to the public and charges a high amount for it. Minimal work for maximum cash card sales. That is how I look at it. It's already there. Already customizable.

SAMCRO also had their Chevy Express van, usually driven by SAMCRO members like Juice and Rat. Vans are useful for an MC. You can't exactly smuggle crates of AKs or kilos of yay on a bike.

I'm really starting to doubt there being any vehicles other than motorbikes. I was really hoping for at least a muscle car or something that fits with the theme of "bikers". Then again, it's R*, they might keep things hidden. Guess I'll wait for the trailer.

Not even muscle cars fit the biker theme, though. No cars do. Bikers are, after all, bikers. Hell, when I was a little kid my dad even drove me to school on his bike. A biker only uses a car if absolutely necessary, like in hard rain or family driving. I think R* might be sticking to that biker law, as well.

Yes, that's right. I usually kill anyone I encounter on a so called "false bike". But we were discussing cars now, right? At least sports bikes are still bikes, only the wrong kind in my eyes. But bikers driving cars is a relatively rare occassion, if you can avoid it.

 

 

I also said, somewhere, that I'd like people to actually have sports bikes - because then I have more rival bikers to kill!

R* introduced the lost MC in gta V with set of bikes , slamvan and gang burrito. The last two are not bikes, i do not see why we can't expect car(s) in this DLC.

 

I never said not to expect new cars. I just speculated that there's a good chance we'll get none this time around, judging by how bikers view cars. It all depends on how true R* wanna be to the biker culture.

Seriously? The trailer didn't even come out yet, and you're already spoiling the mood for everyone? This could be, and probably is, one of the most awesome updates that GTA Online has had yet. Clubhouses, biker gangs of up to 8 people, businesses, new vehicles (which means it's not only bikes... no idea why you're saying there's no chance of a Lost Slamvan, in fact it probably will be available to purchase), new activities, clothing, vehicle-based work... not mentioning the potential of Bahamas Mamas opening. Yet you still find a reason to be upset. Cheer up, I'm sure they haven't shown us the good stuff yet, just teasers.

Where did you get this? Or are you just speculating?

 

 

 

They're probably going to add cars in this DLC. Every DLC we had, that included vehicles, had at least 1 car. So I don't think that the biker DLC is going to be any different on that front. And they even said on their newswire that they are adding a wide range of new vehicles, not only bikes.

 

Bikers - the next addition to GTA Online - brings underground Motorcycle Clubs to the forefront of the Los Santos and Blaine County criminal underworld with a rash of all new competitive and co-operative gameplay as well as new modes, vehicles, weapons, clothing and much more.

 

 

With vehicles, they could just mean bikes. As always they are ambiguous.

 

 

I doubt it. No matter how ambiguous Rockstar may seem, they wouldn't say that. They used the term vehicles for a reason.

As far as four wheeled vehicles, it does say 'bikers'. I dont mind if they release cars, especially the DoD (my FAVORITE car in the game) or the LSV. They DO make sense, but expectations are the best way to dissapointment. I say, 'hope' for vehicles but dont 'expect' them. I wont be surprised if a dlc called "bikers" only has bikes, but i will be over the moon if they do include DoD and/or LSV

they're just teaser images, they haven't even dropped a trailer yet, and even the trailer wont show you everything this DLC brings. Be patient, if the images show us anything it's that R* actually reads wishlist threads. I have hope, it looks promising, imo

I don't see how anyone can own a bike without owning a pickup. I really think the Rancher pickup will be a surprise if it doesn't make an appearance in the trailer. Either that or the SWB Bobcat. A new pickup is more likely than them giving us the LSV and even less likely the DOD.

No, that's custom on the sport bike wheels.

I don't see how anyone can own a bike without owning a pickup. I really think the Rancher pickup will be a surprise if it doesn't make an appearance in the trailer. Either that or the SWB Bobcat. A new pickup is more likely than them giving us the LSV and even less likely the DOD.

 

I highly doubt we will get another pickup. Would have no use in game. The chances of getting the LSV are astronomically higher than a random pickup truck that wouldn't be able to haul a bike around anyways.

The dlc will be a fail if the vests are locked. And we have to glitch them to save them. And not being able to put our crew patch on back.Dont know why they would even think about being that dumb

So now we have a Western "Rat Bike" to go with our Rat Truck and Rat Loader. What's next, a Flying Rat? Rat Bug? Rat Tug?

 

Anyway this looks like a pretty cool update. Glad they included MC rankings, and looking forward to the "vehicle-based business ventures". Sounds like Ambulance/Police/Fire missions, but could be something more! I'll have to make a more detailed post on that sometime.
