FFfffffCcccccRrrr!!!! Better grab the tissues before i make the purchase. Who cares if it's slow, the looks alone are amazing. I think it's funny that a lot of people here dig cafe bikes as its really such a niche scene, and they are stiff and slow IRL. Is it an aesthetic thing for you folks as well?

 

Edit: Cafe racer and classic Porsche/Nissan all in one month and some people still refuse to believe that R* listens to their diehard fans. Thank you R*

Good eye. Was the bike on the cover in the actual game though? I dont recall ever seeing itI think the cover artist took some liberties due to how rough the graphics were back then, but no only the PCJ which is more sport bike than cafe style. In VCS they introduced the Street fighter which was closer to this/cover image, but no cigar. The body design is so simplistic and iconic, nice to finally have a truly modular cafe bike!!!!

So, (speculation here.) If they do this, and if they add the Valentine DLC like every years, they have to make a dlc for this period (or they could just add the old content to the game with nothing new.)

But.. if they have to drop a DLC with the valentine, it might be a surprise DLC, with no announcement, trailer or anything (like the drop zone with the RS/900R last year!)

Can't really get much more diehard than identifying as a vehicle that hasn't been in the games for over a decade, yet they're still torturing me with that.

 

But yeah, they have been adding a lot of requested stuff lately - I can only hope that means my turn will come up some time this year.

Biker DLC is pretty nice, but once you realize that EVERY bike has almost exactly the same customization, it's a tad disappointing. Nothing even remotely close to the range of customization the FCR has.

R* needs to work better on the engine sounds.

Some bikes have really terrible sound, including that FCR1000. We can custom it as a vintage bike, but that sound doesn't fit at all...

I wonder why the FCR was unlocked today, especially as the snow stayed and they'll have to update tuneables tomorrow anyway. I wonder if it was meant to unlock on new years day, or even when the snow came back ?

 

If we are on a 2 week release schedule the last car would unlock on 31st January. I think it would be pretty unlikely to get any new content for Valentines, maybe they'd just do an event weekend for it using old content.

 

I'm not really sure what they could add for a valentines theme anyway, we've had clothes, an adversary mode and cars.

 

I think February will be another couple of 2 week discount periods and we'll see some new stuff some time in March. We've had quite a lot of cars and bike stuff in the last 6 or so months, so maybe it'll be combat themed ? armed aircraft/boats ?
