Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

Hey guys, I've been lurking on this thread for quite a while now (probably a couple of months) and only now decided to make an account to bring your attention to some details.

 

So, we are all hyped for the Bikers DLC, but no one, as far as I've seen, has really paid attention to this one sentence in the Newswire article for the announcement. It's the sentence that's below the screenshot with NPCs cooking meth:

 

"Seize vertically integrated growth opportunities across a range of sectors with Businesses."

 

In my opinion, these are actually two really important details. The way I see it, here's how this system will work: at first we buy a Clubhouse, and then after that we will be able to purchase Businesses. Sounds familiar, doesn't it? Much like you have to buy an office before purchasing a warehouse. This will be the same system, in my opinion.

 

What we see in the second screenshot with NPCs cooking meth isn't the clubhouse itself, it's one of the businesses. That raises a question, what businesses in particular will we be able to buy? Well, so far we know for a fact that it will be a range of sectors, which means that there will be a variety of different areas of businesses that we could engage in. I believe the Businesses system will be really similar to how you could buy businesses in singleplayer as Franklin, Michael or Trevor.

 

No matter how cheesy it may sound, but this actually may support the claim that Bahamas Mamas might be coming out. In fact, I believe it will come out alongside with Tequi-la-la and that comedy club, all as different businesses that we could buy in this DLC. The fact that we got the Bahamas Mamas shirt a while ago might be a coincidence, but who knows?

 

Speaking of that, when the Bahamas Mamas shirt came out and everyone was freaking out, one guy mentioned that the Bahamas Mamas shirt is actually a part of locked special t-shirts that sometimes get unlocked by Rockstar, like that Meltdown shirt we also had a while ago. They also mentioned that there is a locked Maisonette 9 shirt. Funny enough, yesterday I somehow managed to get the Maisonette 9 logo on my outfit, so if anyone is wondering how that shirt will look like, here's a link to my steam screenshot:

I like the idea of owning businesses in online but would be wierd for 6 CEO's (owning businesses sounds more like CEO territory than Bikers) or biker Presidents to own the same business. It wouldn't be anymore weird than a lobby of CEO's all owning the same offices and same warehouses and same apartments and same houses.

I agree.Back before Lectro was released everyone thought it will be a new Bati killer/Akuma killer/Hakuchou killer,but when it was released it turned out to be an average crotch rocket,other than those few seconds of boost,its performance is comparable to Double T, Ruffian and Carbon RS.As for Vindicator,I don't know what was the point of putting a boost and high top speed on a bike that turns like a bus,if it had to be a big Honda bike,I would prefer it being based on a Goldwing and not having KERS (like Wayfarer in GTA SA).In my opinion putting a KERS on bikes in GTA is just a cheap trick to put a price of around 700k on bikes which are realistically not worth more than 200k.

I don't see any issues with that. Mach1bud pretty much summed up all that I was going to say above.

 

However, that raises a valid question. How will businesses work? Rockstar will somehow need to make this new system more appealing, or at least comparable to CEO work so that people would actually want to buy these businesses.

 

Perhaps the businesses could generate a small amount of revenue every hour or so, and generate additional income whenever we do CEO-esque missions? Not too much periodical income though, since Rockstar still wants shark card sales.

Offices and apartments can be perceived as on different floors of the building. But you're right about the warehouses, stilt houses, and houses in Paleto.

It's a Damn shame people can't find the upcoming vehicles for future updates anymore.

 

Dying to know if the biker update will be for MULTIBLE bike fan types. I think so but i'm not sure myself.

This little bit from the Newswire makes me think they will include sport bikes as well, maybe even dirt bikes? Idk there are alot of different bikes out there.

 

 

Said it almost 2 months ago, I know the orig hells angels and such are classic bikers. The Ruff Ryders' though.. beeen around almost 30 years now. Pumped for both gangs. My choppers and my biker boys style lol. Most excited for the new weapons playing their RR64 style in the new races!

Pretty sure that's a Wayfarer.No. Look at the shape of headlight and compare it to Daemon next to it. Same.

On the west side of Detroit, i see 12 o'clock boyz style bike gangs pretty frequently. Imagine an eight person gang all riding suped up 2 stroke dirt bikes. Lot's of YZs and KXs and CRs. Even if we don't get another new dirt bike, i'll be starting dirt based gang fasho..

While I'm not really into dirt bikes,it would be cool to get one more.So far there's only 3 dirt bikes (Sanchez, Enduro and BF400),but maybe they could return Manchez from GTA LCS
