I wouldn't worry about them not having announced a date. Rockstar is a funny company, with infamously funny logic - they're probably just mixing things up.

 

There's plenty that hasn't happened before with this update - flying cars, 60-car garages, etc. so it dropping without a date isn't so outlandish.

 

I do get the feeling that some of the leaked stuff might be innacurate though, since Rockstar fa**ot is presumably someone who got fired, so he might not have been basing things off the latest version of it. But that's just a vibe, nothing to worry about.

I do get the feeling that some of the leaked stuff might be innacurate though, since Rockstar fa**ot is presumably someone who got fired, so he might not have been basing things off the latest version of it. But that's just a vibe, nothing to worry about.

If he was fired wouldn't it make it far easier for R* to find who broke NDA since presumably there are far less fired employees compared to the employed. Also if he was recently fired it makes it even more obvious.

I've had the thought that he might not even work for R* at all. All his info could be true, because he has a buddy who works for R*. And he decides to pose as a employee since he's getting relayed all the info.

 

Idk, I've just thought that a few times after reading through all he's said. And if he did work for R*, he's implied that he still does from what I can tell. If you read what he says, he makes it sound like he's still on the team. There's a post where he admits to being a intern too.

Here's what makes sense:

 

Current bonus week ends tomorrow. It's a shortened bonus week that conveniently ends the day of a rumored update. Not concrete "evidence" but certainly promising.

 

I saw something posted earlier (apparently from Rockstar) noting the end of the bonus week and the statement "last chance to get these discounts before the import/export update". Wish I knew where that was now, just kind of ignored it since it made sense.

 

Lastly...Forza releases its expansion tomorrow (tonight). I know this for fact because they formally announced the date, told us what cars are coming and released a teaser trailer. That's what I'll be spending my time on if this sh*t doesn't drop. Maybe Rockstar can call Turn 10 and Microsoft and ask them about keeping a player base informed and how to add new, unique experiences to their games. With all the car nuts in here, I gotta figure many of you will be rallying up and down a mountain with me tomorrow...with or without a poorly informed release of yet another Rockstar cluster of speculation and misinformation.
