When people say "no signs point to the update coming out tomorrow because we haven't seen a trailer yet" I have one thing to remind you of.

 

The bikers update trailer released after the update.

 

This is the most recent update, aswell.

Trailers mean nothing, you're right, but I will say Bikers also got a 2nd Newswire post that confirmed an actual date of October 4th on Sept 27th. If the update goes come out tomorrow with no 2nd post or trailer it will be a first for R*

I don't know what it's going to take for yall to realize Rockstar has no pattern. They do what they want. Period. They could drop an update no words whatsoever. Or they could announcement, uodate us on it and give us a trailer. And everything in between.

There's a first time for everything and what better time to do it? A huge update, talk about festive surprise, especially for the players who aren't on the forums or haven't seen these leaks.

 

Edit: I'm not saying the update won't come tomorrow because there wasn't a release date or trailer by the way. I actually think it is coming tomorrow.

Yes but Hipster was a replacement update for heists, remember? So while we didn't expect Hipsters exactly we were all somewhat expecting a third update to finish out the summer like R* had talked about.

During the time Hipster was released, R* blueballed us with the release of heists being released on the same day they switched Heists for Hipster.

 

The day of, or the day before, they sent out a notice saying that heists would not come, but Hipsters would in its place, and we all got cheesed.

 

Ah,... good times. Back when every single item in a DLC could be known word for word.

It doesn't make sense to me that Rockstar would release a major update like this without some more information on it tbh.

 

As much as I'm looking forward to it, I kinda don't see it releasing today but we'll see.
