I think it's more they have everything ready to go and there's a head chief in charge who just has to press a button. Then some intern comes in running with statistics on how numbers have quadruped due to speculation, leaks, pre-update grinders, etc. "Maybe I should just make them wait a little longer. Maybe I could just release an official date for today".

 

That's how I imagine it.

all while the head of PR department laugh as he sees all the buzz and hype... all that without him moving a single finger hahaha

Why does everyone keep talking about they released the biker update with no info, when they clearly said look for more info on import and export. I think that's why people are getting worried

I woke up today, and the first thing I did was reach over and grab my phone to check this thread.

 

I kinda just went back to sleep after that. No point in being awake without this update.

My speculation is that the Rocket Voltic and the Ruiner2000 will be the cars held back until christmas. I could see them holding them back and then releasing them along side yet another adversary mode that involves the both of them.

 

They're special vehicles which the new missions involve. Why would they lock them off "secretly" when you're doing missions involving them from the get go?

 

Has it been confirmed that the missions that involve them will be available right off the bat? If it has, i missed that.

Same here I live in EST time zone, so its like waking up for christmas. I just go to bed and I know that when I will wake up there will be a lovely DLC for me and if I oversleep there will even be youtube video already showing all the cars

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually glad I'm working tomorrow. I'll either have a few hours info on the new mechanics, vehicles and costs. Or, I'll have had a few hours of dissapointment to read through, get home and grind crates.

Considering the Rockstar Tweet was literally worded as "LAST DAY to gear up" and the fact that they apparently requested a DLC release tomorrow to Sony and Microsoft makes me think the DLC might be tomorrow after all. But the lack of info makes me think otherwise. Here's hoping...
