I'm done, if it comes it comes. If it doesn't it doesn't. I long for the days when we got regular announcements and sh*t. Now they've got to act like a bunch of f*cktards and freak out when something gets out which was inevitable considering how overly secretive they are. They're a big company who doesn't know how to handle their sh*t.

Despite the lack of info and general derailing of the hype train, still think tomorrow is the most likely date for the update. Consider;

 

- 20th puts it one week before Christmas. This means it'll likely fall on the same day as the Tunables for any Christmas stuff start getting talked about, which means that the two will be in competition. Since these will probably run to at least the 27th, i'd count that date out as well. I'd imagine a week for playing the new content before they push whatever is for Xmas this year on us.

 

- With R* presumably giving staff leave for Christmas, 20th puts it very close to that time. As such, it doesn't leave them a lot of room to remedy any game breaking bugs/amazing money glitches before Christmas.

 

- A whole bunch of other DLC comes out tomorrow; Overwatch, Hitman, Destiny and a few other games have DLC due tomorrow. It's likely that R* will want to compete with them, since releasing a week later but a week before Christmas means most people won't have any money left to spend on Cash Cards.

 

- Similarly, a 27th release means most people won't have money because Christmas. And then we're into January before the next payday, for the average joe.

For some reason we have a surge of people assuming since info hasn't been released that the DLC will be "delayed" till next week. They seem to have forgot R* till released DLC with no information released at all till the day of. I find it more stupid we have provable facts for a 13th release and they still deny it and say its "delayed". I love how they use the word delayed as well when we never got an official release date in the first place.

I'm still getting a vibe all the old armed vehicles will now have an ammo limit. I mean, think about how the Ruiner will fit with the others if not - it'd just feel out of place.

 

Plus it's an excuse to lift some of the other restraints off them (mainly armour).

DLC drop arond 5-6am eastern as usual and news few hours later around lunch time. That seems to be a thing R* does sometimes.

I say the most hype will be there around 11 AM GMT, one and half hour later Australian updates hit and there will be new vehicle screenshots all over the place.

Sometimes they post on the newswire shortly after the update drops, other times they may post later on that morning, like 7am PST/9am EST.
