Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

My bet is an announcement on thursday then release on tuesday, like usual. Why wouldn't they wait until the 20th? Stores and whatnot are open to at least the 23rd (have in mind that christmas is celebrated on the 24th here), so why wouldn't R*?. Someone will also have to work during the holiday since there's likely gonna be snow on christmas eve(s) (and possibly some bugs and other maintenance trouble).

Nobody that has any more power and authority than to flip a tunables switch will be working @ R* HQ after this Friday. 13th or not at all, are the only options.

Jesus Christ, just because we didn't get any info today doesn't mean we arent getting the update tomorrow. They're likely going to do the same thing they did with Bikers and release the trailer on the day of release, which is tomorrow.

R* fa**ot was the only one to give us legitimate intel on this up and coming DLC and hes only believable due to him being 100% accurate about the last DLC. I highly doubt R* would change the date of a DLC (mind you we don't even know the release date anyway so you shouldn't be bitching) because some employee of theirs gave some info out about the next DLC. We don't know if he was fired or not, his last true post on /vg/ didn't make it seem he was mad or in trouble at all. Some forum members assumed R* is flip sh*tting over this, but their intel doesn't seem to be nearly credible since it was just locked to the R* support end of things in which R* support isn't entirely tied to R* themslves anyway anymore.

 

To the people who keep assuming sh*t, R* is always random and they never have a pattern going. We didn't get V information for the longest time till we got a random "surprise its been delayed" at the very end of their expected deadline they gave us.

 

Do I feel the update in coming out tomorrow? Yes, but we never got an exact word from anyone thats its being released tomorrow except from R* fa**ot. Everyone else so far has been posting up bs about "trailer this day" or "this and this happened". Aside from a few ifruit app pictures, R* fa**ot is the only source of legitimate information we have rn and he hasn't posted since last monday.

welp, i'm ready if it does come and i'm assuming it is. if it doesn't, we have one more week to rake in the millions..

 

 

based on two years of major updates, the general vibe across the forum, leakers and my gut says tomorrow is our day though. makes the most sense logically speaking. R* would have to be preeeety stupid to wait another week. That's a whole week that little kids could be putting kersh kherds on their wishlists after seeing the slew of new vehicles..

I'm getting really bored of people acting like this is the first DLC we've had no news about the day before release. Just wait god dammit and stop being so stupid thinking they'd waste an extra week of their own winter break just to switch on tunables for GTA... I'm sure their families are far more important than a game update 5 days before Christmas

The thing with Bikers is that they gave a release date 5 or 6 days ahead of time. With Import/export nothing. I hope I'm wrong but something tells me the update is gonna be pushed to next week.

I have had to show up to my business on a holiday because inventory shows up on said holiday even though we were closed because in order for us to run on the day after when we are on normal business hours we required that a delivery be made. Million dollar companies require sacrifices.. so showing up on a holiday or holiday break is not out of the ordinary.
