Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

They could release the update on the 20th and then the Christmas content on Friday the 23th. They also released the Halloween content on a Friday this year so why not do the same for Xmas?

 

Sony generally restruct the number of update files that are done in the last weeks of December to essential updates only, they could do that it next week but I think it's unlikely,

could happen as they will have to do all the turn off the tuneables and Rockstar staff will be starting to go on their Xmas holidays.

I think they could release it next week, even if it seems too close from Christmas.

It's R*, remember. There's no scheme repeting itself everytime.

I can't believe it will come tomorrow until they say so, or until it actually happens, because they didn't announce a precise release date. So as far as I know, it could be this week or the next one.

The only thing I'm quite sure is that we'll get the release date and new details.

You also have to take into consideration that the current event ends tonight (Monday night if Its still Sunday in your time zone). That never happens, unless:

 

A) Time-locked vehicle will be released Tuesday morning ... Which is extremely unlikely because there are no Time-locked vehicles left from the previous dlc.

 

 

B) New dlc will be released Tuesday morning.

And, no. They probably won't drop the DLC with no fanfare on Tuesday on some stealthy ninja sh*t either. There will most likely be a trailer or official announcement beforehand.

I think Rockstar not having released the trailer is not to overload the servers. A lot of people will only find out that the DLC was released some time later. And for the YTrs not to post the trailer on their channel

At least with Bikers we had a solid official release date but I agree, I wouldn't be at all surprised if we get no news at all today and still get the dlc tomorrow. R* usually updates newswire between 3pm and 4pm gmt I think.
