So excited that we can customise "special" vehicles. I hope the Turreted Limo can be modified finally... OT - On Facebook. R* uploaded an image of the Turreted Limo with different rims than default also, the armour panels on some windows are removed. Most likely just the beta design though

I check each website for everything available, then I buy a ride, cruise over to Ponsobys, park up and check out the clothes then go mod my ride. I can spend hours checking everything out and experimenting, with this though it's gonna be days.

I wait until in-game dawn then I buy my cars and take them up to Paleto, the perfect test drive. It's like a maiden voyage. I'll drive them from Rockford onto the freeway and cruise all of the way up to Paleto then take the Great Ocean Highway back. Then do some city driving. Since it's multiple cars I'm crazy about this time I'll be repeating it 4-6 times I guess.

Would be awesome if Rockstar made some fake commercials for upcoming vehicles. Perhaps they could post videos of something like that on their newswire.

I could see it being something likes this:

 

 

Wouldn't even be hard thing to do, just some driving footage and the script from the cars webpage like;

"Grease up the drive shaft because this hot number has curves in all the right places. A classic luxury grand tourer, the JB 700 has been the car of choice for drunken misogynistic British spies since 1965. Dust off the tuxedo, quip a sexual double-entendre, pour yourself a martini for the road, and stumble out as everyone in the room mutters what a turd you are.

And with classic vehicles they could be made to look like sexist vintage ads.

I always like the 2 days before scheduled updates, get a plan to what your going to purchase first, I usually go straight to the clothes section, get some new clobber before I pick up the new whip. Lol

 

I check each website for everything available, then I buy a ride, cruise over to Ponsobys, park up and check out the clothes then go mod my ride. I can spend hours checking everything out and experimenting, with this though it's gonna be days.

 

Pretty much what I do. After that I usually check on youtube and the first video start to pop up about the cars/property so I can check all the customisations without buying it so I can decide if I want it or not.

Specifically R34's? Yes. however some R32's are old enough they can be imported and registered legally, so long as they're at least 25 years old.

 

What is the reason for this? why it becomes legal when it gets older, I would imagine car get's more unsafe/hazardous when it gets older?It has nothing to do with safety. It's due to an import law that Mercedes lobbied for because grey market imports were cutting into their profits. If you want to know more, there's plenty on Google. If you want an R34, you just have to wait until it's 25 years old. There are a few here already only because years ago there was a company that disassembled them, shipped the pieces over, reassembled them, and registered them as kit cars. The feds didn't like that loophole very much and put a stop to it.

Used to do all this when I could buy anything I wanted. Idk what I'm gonna do with this update though with only 4 mil, you know everything's gonna cost 30+ million altogether. Itching to buy a shark card but I MUST RESIST.

I typically get into my car, go for a drive down to the local mod shop, see if any new cars are there, drive home, by then the update should have downloaded on my slow internet, then i get in game and i get in my car, go for a drive down to the local mod shop and see if any new cars are there, then drive home and see what I can afford on the home PC

You kinda of wished they had a Burger shot (that's functional) so you could stop off midway point of that epic journey just to eat and check out the ride before setting off again.Yeah. In all seriousness I do usually stop at the LSC in Paleto just to get a good look at the car again. I remember this with the T20 and Windsor. Gosh that was a fun day. Stirling GT I just drove around Vinewood in that.

 

Edit: Forgot Windsor and T20 were in two different updates. Same feeling though.

I've skimmed through all our sh*t posting for the the last week, haven't seen anyone post anything about /qabeta being updated? I was under the impression this always preceded the DLC update...

Since we're stating what we do, I usually just go online to check out all the new vehicles to save. Buy one, test drive it, mod it and then go check out other stuff (Clothing, masks, etc) - Then I'll buy any other vehicle I want. No long peaceful drives for me, though.

 

Sometimes I will floor it, throwing it around corners, just to see how well the vehicle handles such abuse. And then....I lose connection to my session, cause it's GTAO and my internet is a pile of wank. Lol

I forgot the very first thing I do. I always wake up at 7 even if I'm excited for something. So when I'm up the update is usually out. I'll check the appreciation threads. Usually let's me know which vehicles to disregard meaning they suck.

That's what I do whenever I buy a new vehicle in this game. So much fun seeing instantly what a vehicle can do.

That's what I do whenever I buy a new vehicle in this game. So much fun seeing instantly what a vehicle can do.That's what I usually do in content creator. Haul ass see what it can do. But when I actually buy it it's that first drive. Usually just cruise occasionally flooring it down the highway but otherwise I just kind of move the camera around analyzing the car.
