There probably wont be a wait time between steal and sell missions. You arent getting 800k to sell a car.

inb4 there's stairs, but when you walk up to them you get an animation of your character walking up the flight of stairs, the screen blacks out, and then you see an animation of your character finishing their climb up the stairs and stepping onto the next floor. Also I'd expect the Car Warehouse to involve some kind of wait before you can cash in the $$$. I don't know, maybe the mechanic will have to switch plates on the car, the VIN numbers(or something), respray it, etc. Or even something as simple as waiting for the heat to go away.

 

I'd be really surprised if I could sit down, launch the game, steal a $800k car and sell it immediately. I'm also thinking the sales will be done so that we're not actually driving the car. Maybe the car will be loaded in a Brickade, as it looks big enough to hold a supercar inside, maybe it'll be in a container hooked to a Skylift... (or Cargobob). Or a ramp truck. Otherwise it'd be fairly easy for a skilled driver to grab a supercar and make himself near impossible to pull out of the car and steal it. And I just don't expect R* to give us easy missions like that. They could also reuse the "take" thing from Pacific Standard. Any hit to your transport vehicle will lower your take as the cars inside become damaged. Or at least any big enough hit, it'd be incredibly annoying if you flattened a small stop sign in your Brickade and your shipment value went down 20k

 

Also I wish this would turn out to be more profitable than Heists. I really, really don't want to do this for a month or two before I have to revert to farming PSJ so that I can afford the next update. Seriously, I'm already inclined to AFK and just be lazy wherever possible in those setup/finale runs.

man we barely get 100k on most heists why in the hell would you set yourself up thinking they're gonna pay you 800k for a car?

The sh*t the pay you is pathetic. You're supposed to shove out 5.7 million for a Ruiner but they're gonna pay you jack sh*t? That's probably why the Pac Standard glitch is still around lol.

This won't happen out of R* fear of finding glitches but imagine if you found the car stock, and you could customize the car, free of charge. Whatever customizations you make increases or decreases the value of the car. The more creative you get, the better you get paid back. But if the car gets scratched on delivery or selling, you have to pay for that.

I wouldn't be surprised if they made it to where you're just the "holding company". Which in turn you'd be getting paid for holding and transferring the vehicles to the buyer, sort of a middleman. This would justify not getting a sh*t ton of money for selling one rare car.

Maybe it would be the actual "special vehicles" from this DLC like the rocket Voltic, but I'd really hope for an occasional car that you can choose to keep yourself!

tfw the last time i did a heist, i was dumping the money into my second character and it was during the time of character change glitch that got you a cool 800k every time you switched and back.

 

At first I thought the heist paid out more than I thought till I saw the glitch posted and I didn't have to do another heist again. If I wasn't doing heists that day I would've missed the glitch entirely. I have a new appreciation for heists.

I think you're forgetting that this is still a speculation thread.

We're not just waiting for Rockstar or a leaker to give us info. Most of the people on here are discussing what we'll be able to do in the update when it drops.
