Can anyone ask that Rockstar employee dude how many supercars there will be? And a rough estimate on prices? I'm too busy to do it myself.

Out of 25 total vehicles? I highly doubt it.

 

Who said there was 25 vehicles? Rockstar fa**ot did say there would only be 2 supers and the rest were benny's/ricers though.

 

 

Yan said there will be 25 vehicles, and that number includes the custom variants of vehicles, aka the Bennys versions.

So... Collections. You'd get more money for a collection of cars so, what would that be? Four or five of the same make, or model, or class like Supers or Sports? I would imagine getting for example, four Obey vehicles (Rocoto, 9F, Tailgater, 9F Cabrio) would net you a manufacturer bonus? Stoked to see how it plays out.

And I imagine the jump feature will function similar to how the lowriders jump but without the other hydraulic actions. Just a push button hop a few feet wouldn't be too unrealistic and you'd be able to clear small ledges and other obstacles which would create a lot of opportunity for jumps and shortcuts not executable in most vehicles.

Well this is quite a big thing that could tame it from the beast it's being seen as (myself included in that, not pointing fingers). When I first heard it could jump, I pictured it propelling itself hundreds of feet into the air, then just floating around. But it might just do a few feet - in which case it's a very different thing.

 

I bet it will be just like taxi jumps in Vice City (after 100 fares)

I decide to go through Rockstar F's posts on 4chan again and found a few things that were interesting

Q: What other DLCs do you guys have planned for the future?
A: Too many. There's tonnes and tonnes of ideas spitballed, design documents all piled up on a server.


This suggests that Rockstar has much more Ideas in the future for GTA Online, and GTAO may not end anytime soon.

Q: Rockstar guy I sent a big list of sh*t that I'd like put into the game to that content requests a couple weeks ago, could you tell me if you guys are considering any of it?
A: We've been expanding the cars list for this pack in recent weeks. There's so many requests that it can be difficult to remember them all.


Rockstar do listen to requests for vehicles (I'm guessing through Rockstar's email). This could bring hope for those that want specific cars such as the Hakumai etc. It also means that if your desired vehicle is not in this DLC there is a chance it could come in the future.

He gave an example, he said one of the collections is the "Rally" collection, that has 4 cars, Omnis, Tropos, and two more. Maybe a dressed up Sultan RS?

 

So I think the collections will be themed more generic like that, apposed to by manufacturer.

With the biker DLC, Rockstar made the mechanic obsolete for acquiring your bikes. You can now instantly call bikes in, send them home without any cool down. This is a helluva lot better than calling the mechanic, waiting 10 seconds for the vehicle to arrive, and then being forced into a cool down before you can call again. This feature also allows users to send their vehicle home, so no more "you're too close to your PV". I hope this process is copied to cars for the CEO import/Export. It's so much more simple and efficient than the mechanic.

Thinking more like gone in 60 seconds, where specific buyers will want certain number and brand of vehicles, with specific modifications to them. Could be all grotti's with certain mods, or range from ztype to windsor with a few sports and a super. maybe random configurations but surely the top dollar sales will mainly consist of supers.

Does anyone think we'll get a decent variety of vehicles with this update? Like sports/super cars, muscle cars, classic cars, and off-road vehicles? I think about Gone In 60 Seconds (the Nicholas Cage one), and I think about all the types of vehicles they had to steal. I hope it's the same way in the update.

If there's gonna be 25 vehicles guaranteed, it currently stands like this;

 

7 Specialist Vehicles:

 

The Jet Voltic

The Ramp car

The Phantom Wedge

The armoured Boxville

Amphibious Technical

Amphibious Blazer

Ruiner 2000

 

2 Legendary Motorsport vehicles:

 

The Tempesta

Unknown

 

2 Bikes:

 

Unknown

Unknown

 

2 Hidden vehicles for Festive Surprise:

 

Unknown

Unknown

 

So far, that amounts to 13 vehicles. With Yan confirming that some of the 25 are Benny's upgraded variants, that means that, at the very least, there should be 6 Benny's mobiles. There's also a chance the two bikes will be included in that list, so that makes 8 Benny's upgraded vehicles.(Unless the second bike is an upgraded version of the first bike, though I doubt that.)

 

Oh, and for the two people that have claimed this already, (possibly just the one guy twice), 7/25 "gimmicky" cars does not constitute "most" of this update's vehicles.

Hopefully man, I think everything is going to sport/super though, the only vehicle from gone in 60 seconds I'd like to see is the Shelby, chances are slim for it though.

I have yet to meet a developer of any video game who actually likes a dataminers, from what I heard from the World of Warcraft developers who actually answered questions about it, they know they can't stop them doing it, but they don't like it, even tho they let the players pre-test large parts of both major and minor updates (what we in GTA call DLC) there's often one or two things they don't include because they want it to be surprise when it's actually patched to the live servers, but the dataminers often ruin the surprise because the data is still included in the test server patch, just not made active.

An other thing is that they datamine incomplete features, or remnants of features that weren't included after internal testing, creating hate or hype for things that were not going to be included anyway.

Yeah I said something similar a couple of months ago. Leakers do ruin the hype, However they are the only thing we have when it comes to knowing the truth. Also since almost everyone on this forums likes GTA way more than your average player, we are always demanding to know information and they provide that.

Because it is obvious after 3 years that they aren't going to do anything about it, they aren't going to change a vehicle that is already in the game.

That can be argued somewhat. They did modify the tanks armor a few patches after the release of GTA Online.

Frankly I wouldn't care even if it became 100% confirmed with actual gameplay video that this new KITT thing has the Hydra's cannon, rockets(homing on/off), parachute gliding thing, jumping abilities and a performance buff like the Schafter V12. Hell, add in Kuruma-style armor(you don't need driveby with that kind of onboard guns lmao) to make it even more trollworthy. Or Insurgent armor. I don't care. Make it tougher than an insurgent with Kuruma style armor included as well if you want.

 

Why should I care who or what one-shot blows me up? Honestly, in most cases, I don't even manage to defend myself from a Savage. I have the Homing launcher etc. I just don't. Before I can even get out to aim, he's already fired 9001 rockets, twice that are on the way and at least 30% of them will be direct hits.

 

Why would I waste the ammo on some dude who's trying to screw me over? Or why would I blow up an alleged KITT that will probably have 20k insurance anyway? I'd just take the death(or go passive), lose whatever money I have on me (I bank everything) and get on with it. I already avoid 99% of the player blips on the map, passive mode whenever possible and generally prefer to not even be in the vicinity of anyone who's not friendly.

 

Plus it'd be something I could, hopefully, take into heists to breathe some new life into them. Even if it's the kind of life where you go in, blow up all the NPCs with your OP car-tank-thing and then get on with the objective.

 

Also I hope the Rocket Voltic thing is true. I want to see someone use that thing to crash into a jet and put those flying rats in their place.

I'd just like to see passive disabled. You should NOT be able to be in passive in any armed vehicle. And there should be a cool down for entering passive after exiting an armed vehicle as well. I hate it when I finally down a jet, blow up a tank or insurgent, and the scrub hits passive to go get in a jet or whatever again. Or you go off radar or ghost and they know you're after them so they hit passive until you're back on radar. Honestly I'd rather passive not even exist.

I'd just like to see passive disabled. You should NOT be able to be in passive in any armed vehicle. And there should be a cool down for entering passive after exiting an armed vehicle as well. I hate it when I finally down a jet, blow up a tank or insurgent, and the scrub hits passive to go get in a jet or whatever again. Or you go off radar or ghost and they know you're after them so they hit passive until you're back on radar. Honestly I'd rather passive not even exist.

I disagree. I'm someone that enjoys skydiving out of my Hydra and it pisses me off when someone sends a homing launcher my way as I'm heading into the sky. When I get killed they then continue to harass me so I go in passive and get my Hydra again and fly off without being bothered.

There should be separate servers for that. Passive server/no friendly fire server whatever, do away with the transparent goofballs.

Top speed will still be capped it's just going to accelerate extremely fast.
