Next DLC Speculation Thread (Part 2)

So I was thinking about the ocation of the garage, our 4chan man says its a showroom kinda deal and we know it isn't underground due to the picture showing daylight through the windows.

 

I took a look around the construction site opposite the maze bank.

 

As people have noted you can see a crane tower in the picture posted to newswire. This makes no sense - if the building was finished why would there be a construction crane ?

On the site opposite maze bank there are two buildings.

If you go to the east side of them and look at look, the southerly building has a rounded corner on it that just to happens to look a bit like where the ramp is, also the construction crane from the other building provides the tower, take a look

 

See the blue sheeting to on the building to the left ? see how its rounded ? Also note the crane to the right near the other building

I mean, Dragoon got the whole threat-package, why not this guy?

still hoping for it to be fake. Might be Some truth to it but not all. (Hopefully) having a hard time believing that we Will only get 2 legendary motersport cars. Seems weird.

Hopefully a fake, 2 legendary Motorsport cars isn't much.. Plus there was no mention of a sports classic which I think will be added.

Here is hoping to a new entering car animation with the ramp car. Would be awesome to just jump into it rather than the usual.

Like we used to be able to do on the banshee in IV...I miss that.

Just because it originated as a general term for japanese cars doesn't mean it still means that. I get that it originally acted as a catchall term but now it's for cars that are "tuned" cosmetically only.

Just google image search ricer and you'll see what kind of cars are considered ricers. For example:

I know it's used as Riced up or even Ricer in cases like this but that, when you see a Camry with a giant wing and call him a Ricer, it's very much tongue in cheek. I've made my living from tuning cars for 10 years at one point and raced cars for many years. I know exactly what Ricer means and how it's used. Properly used it just means someone that likes/uses/races a Japanese car, that's all. It's not even derogatory.

He also leaked the Import/Export DLC before its announcement

AND he talks and an attituteds like a typical Rockstar Games employee.

One thing is the main building and other thing are the rest of the planned constructions in that block. Maybe the tall building will be done and the rest don't, or the other way around. The crane will still be there in both cases.

www.anti-rice.com.... decades long debate over this very thing. Between AR and RiceKiller I'm pretty sure it was decided that "ricer" now defines any car given the poseur treatment, whether it's a JDM or not.

 

The term ricer did originate from a derogatory slam against Asian vehicles, but it has been redefined, mostly due to the massive influx of Auto-Zone glue-on "performance parts" hobbyists after the first Fast and Furious was released. Suddenly everyone with a 4 cylinder car was slapping park bench spoilers and coffee can mufflers on them, sanding them down and putting primer on them and never doing anything else, painting interior parts and changing the light bulbs out with colored ones.
