Well he did say that the special vehicle missions were like mini heists.

Well, it's meant to be the 13th it releases right? And they said they'd be showing glimpses of the special vehicles. So, between now and the 13th, we'll see if he's legit or not. We can't count the ramp car as proof (that was shown already), but if we see the floating one, the truck, the quad, etc. then it'll be looking like he's real.

The way I see it, we have the Bond car, the Tron bike, behemoth C-130s that we casually fly dangerously close to tall buildings, yachts with anti-air defense systems (lol), etc. A parody of KITT isn't that far fetched at this point, in all honestly. I think everyone should at least wait for the update to drop before getting upset. Who knows, you might end up loving it.

The way I see it, we have the Bond car, the Tron bike, behemoth C-130s that we casually fly dangerously close to tall buildings, yachts with anti-air defense systems (lol), etc. A parody of KITT isn't that far fetched at this point, in all honestly. I think everyone should at least wait for the update to drop before getting upset. Who knows, you might end up loving it.

 

The bond car can't fire any weapons, the tron bike is just a parody of an existing bike with some pretty lights and the last one's realism giving way to fun.

I just don't see how adding a car with homing rockets that can fly is a good idea.

Well, it's an eye-opener anyway. To be honest, he was almost worse than the things he was leaking. Imagine if you saw a pop star go behind stage and openly tell everyone how their fans are childish entitled f*gs (or whatever he called them). It's just not cool.

 

this is exactly why people can't handle sites like 4chan. I simply see it as him just giving us information and you see it as him being a dick. Thats how people on 4chan talk, its just normal. Its like you go to a group of gang bangers and they talk trash to each other even though they are cool with each other. He wasn't even be that big of a dick, the people who he was replying too were being total pricks and he was there giving out useful leaks and information. All in all I guess you'd have to browse the site to understand. Sites like these make me feel like you people are too wimpy. Like stop taking everything to offense. Not saying you do, but its the internet. Did he really hurt your feelings?

It does in SP. It's still the same game. It's not like Online is set in a parallel universe.

He was leaking stuff before the actual information even came out and everything he has said up until today's reveal has been correct. So I believe him about all this up and coming content.

Yan's information was older than what the R* fa**ot guy was posting. Yan thought the R* fa**ot's post were over a month old when they were just posted today so even Yan isn't for sure about the whole scrapped info right now. So far the R* fa**ot guy is the most current information and everything he posted has been accurate.

You don't know me very well lol. Words don't hurt my feelings very easily, and anyone who knows me would tell you I don't run around getting offended at everything.

 

It's not even a case where feelings have anything to do with it - it's black and white; you've just got some childish little guy calling all the people who pay his salary everything under the sun.

 

Anyway, like CM suggested, I will give this a chance. I just don't appreciate companies that don't appreciate their fans, and see a lot of missed opportunities. But it's early days anyway, might not even be real, and besides I think I've said enough negativity for one day.

The KITT car will more than likely be able to be destroyed with 1 bomb. This itself gives it less power against the insurgent, tank, dick on a bike with a sticky, buzzard, hydra. I can go on. I feel like it'll be fun in missions and against NPCs, but just like the armored kurama, it won't be that useful overall. Just a couple more gimmics. I for one think the rocket voltic will be ridiculous, but I'm still excited for it.

TBH, yan said they scratched the idea for the ruiner2000, but I think they are going through with it just because of WD2. We'll have to see when its released.

When I was taking a s#it I realized that the KITT car might not suck as hard as we fear.

 

They could easily make it so missiles are only available when the parachute is open, and minigun us for when you are on the ground. That means if you are KITT, that jet griefer who just flew past is now a target; hit the jump, pop the chute and fire. I know I know, any jet worth their salt can evade. But at least its a way to fight back while still in your car.

 

So, on to the minigun. I assume it comes out of the grill, maybe headlights, but no matter what, im guessing you arent getting headshots here, you are just damaging their car. This means staying aimed at their car, and im thinking it might have refillable ammo purchased at the mod shop. Another way to drain money and effectively limit how op it is. But what im getting at is you dont want to just hold down the trigger as you chase, you want to conserve and only fire when lined up. If this is the case, the minigun isnt much of an upgrade over the uzi out the window, which can adjust and go for the head. Even if KITT turns out to be pegasus (I know he mentioned it could be upgraded for super speed, but maybe it works like brickade), and there is no ammo expense, the minigun simply has limited usefulness and u can just chuck a sticky if u are the one getting pursued by one.

 

I dont think we will be seeing flying cars everywhere either, they are still cars that can get locked on to and blow out of the sky, after the first couple days people will realize they just become a floating target and will be more strategic about it.

 

The rocket voltic sounds fun. Goofy but fun. I know my crew and I will be launching that off of the ramp car and trying for mid air collisions. Look at the voltic as a true stunt car, evel knievel type shi. Crazy cars exist, and once the novelty wears off, its not going to be crazy cars everywhere.

 

 

 

Tldr: I really dont think KITT car will be the doomsday machine some are thinking. We've all played gta races and had that rush as someones missiles barely miss you. As long as homing rockets down work when wheels on the ground, and no unlimited ammo for non lock on rockets, im good to go.

So, overpowered just like jets, the homing launcher against helicopters, and many more unbalanced properties of the game? In all reality, I don't think the addition of a KITT car would be to bad as long as it wasn't extremely armored.

I just wish they'd add flare drops to the helicopters since they are too slow and nearly impossible to avoid homing rockets. Flares were in SA and that game is old af. I don't see why they wouldn't do that for this game. Literally the only way to avoid homing in a helicopter is to fly low and fast, even then I've had some bs homing kills from them maneuvering around buildings to get me.

The key with this KITT car isn't so much it's armour I don't think, but if it can outmaneuver a jet. If it can do that, then it can outmaneuver anything people can throw at it (just like a jet).

 

If it has armour on top of that (cars typically get a much better deal than aircraft regarding armour) ... Could potentially be horrifying. And the leaker guy did say it was meant to beat jets didn't he?

 

It's all ifs and buts though. I'll wait and see. For now I want to bury my head in the sand and pretend it's not going to be real anyway.

That's part of it. Plus the insane power out of the RB26 and it's looks. Even though people still claim they're illegal in the U.S. because "they're too fast and cops can't keep up".

 

No one claims they are illegal in the US because "they're too fast for cops", they are illegal in the US because they didn't meet safety requirements and emission standards. Its why a lot of foreign cars are illegal in the US and this is widely known. Plus another reason they were outlawed was the high demand for them and were having a ton of them stolen to meet this demand.

You'd be surprised at how many "car guys" claim it to be true. All you have to do is Google it. There are companies here in the U.S. who will make Skylines and even Holdens legal here.

If this KITT car is for real, then they have no reason to keep the Duke O' Death blacklisted. A car that fires homing rockets added, but not a Punisher's GTO style Dukes? Wouldn't make much sense.

Only reason any car is banned from the US is because they don't meet safety/emission standards of that year they are released. You can have this fixed and imported into the country, but in the end it costs more than its worth. The easiest way is to wait till they are considered classic cars, because then they would be legal despite being out of regulation for current safety/emission standards. This is why the older skylines are becoming legal now.

 

As I said before though, the R34 was also banned due to the high demand of them causing many of them to be stolen and imported. To stop this they put a ban on them being imported. I learned this years ago and IDK if that ban is still on or how much truth to that there was. Seemed legit though and you can thank fast and the c*ntiest for that.
